Perfectly fits ball canning funnel, very durable
If you're looking for something to strain jam, beeswax, or milk straight from the goat, this little strainer does the job. Handles high temperatures, so it's versatile and easy to sterilize, and it fits in ball-sized funnels like it was made for it - the little tabs stick out just enough to securely support it inside the funnel.I've put it through over 100 sanitize cycles in the dishwasher at this point, with no visible wear and tear.

I use this to make yoghurt cheeseYoghurt cheese is where you strain the whey from from the curdsI like yoghurt cheese spread on bagels or toast.Yoghurt cheese looks a lot like cream cheese but is very rich in probiotics.Don’t pour the whey down the drain there are several things you can do with it.Use as yoghurt starter if you make yoghurtUse it to ferment homemade sodas such as ginger ale. Turn fruit juice into orange or grape sodaUse it to ferment vegetables such as sauerkraut, kimchi, kvassAdd it to kibble you feed dogs or cats. Whey is a rich source of probioticsEvaporate or freeze dry into whey protein

Great from straining milk
I got these for straining milk from my goat. They work really well and catch all of the hairs and any dirt that end up in the pail. I wanted something that would fit in a wide mouth jar so I could just strain the milk into the jar and put it in the fridge. These work perfectly.

Not for #4 filters
Over 1/2 of a #4 paper filter is above the top of this filter cone. Unusable with a #4 paper filter.

Love this for straining goat’s milk!
This filter fits perfectly into a canning funnel, which is how I strain fresh goat’s milk into jars before refrigerating.I couldn’t find them in stores in my area anymore, so I’m thankful I found it on Amazon.
