These Northyard athletic shorts are exactly what I was looking for! The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and dries super fast—even after a sweaty workout. I especially love the zippered pockets; they’re secure and perfect for carrying my phone or keys when I’m on the go. The fit is true to size, and the waistband is comfortable with just the right amount of stretch.I went with the 7-inch version, and they hit at a great length—not too short, not too long. They’ve held up well through multiple washes, and I ended up ordering another pair because I liked them so much.Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid, affordable workout shorts that don’t sacrifice quality!

These are my new best friends! They’re so light and they dry so quickly so we were in some rainforests for vacation where it was constantly dry, wet, dry wet, and they performed amazingly and the zippers are of high-quality so you can hide your belongings in them with no worries and they’re just absolutely comfortable. I drove for about 50 hours and I would only wear these shorts because they were that comfortable.

I took a shot on buying these shorts and they didn't disappoint. The material is the same as athletic pants. They fit great. Two deep pockets in front and one in back. Liked these so much I came back and bought other colors.

The shorts are good for the most part. The material seems comfortable and durable. I like that the pockets have zippers, so that you don’t have to worry about things falling out when you run or do anything active. I got the 7 inch length shorts, and in my opinion, it is a little long for me, but I will just get a shorter length next time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My son loves Lululemon shorts but when his sister bought him these for his birthday he was hooked! Great fit and very comfortable.

Love these shorts!!! I'm 6' with a 32 inch inseam and the length is perfect. I would also say they run pretty true to size.

Bought these shorts in 7 different colors and I love them. They’re very comfortable, feel light, dry quick, and are not restrictive around the thighs which is great during leg workouts. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the pocket zipper. While the zipper itself is fine and the pocket size is great, the little cloth flap that acts to cover the zipper tends to get caught in it. So far I’ve been able to just move it around and get it unstuck, but I could see that potentially being an issue later on. This was not a deal breaker for me since I initially got 3 colors and identified this issue but still ordered more because I liked the shorts that much.
