Peak Sherpa Tsampa Cereal, Chocolate Almond Flavor, One 9 Ounce Pouch, Ready to Eat, Certified Organic, Sprouted & Roasted Whole Grain Barley Cereal

I bought some different kinds of this for back packing and used it with Peak powered milk. It was a good filling breakfast. Good taste on all the different flavors. Dense food with high calories and really sticks with you. I ate about a 1/2 cup for breakfast each morning, but after checking my total calories I think a cup would be about right. It could be eaten straight from the bag with lots of chewing.

I’m giving it a 4 star because it does have a weird chalky after taste. Not like the other ones who are smooth. But other then that it’s delicious. Would recommend and buy again.

I'm an avid hiker and always looking for foods that can be easily prepared and give me good energy. This cereal taste good, I'll give it that. It's the consistency, mouth feel that is a bit 'sandy' and makes me uncertain if I would want to eat this multiple days in a row. I've only eaten it one morning for breakfast and am thinking I need to experiment with mixing it with a plain type of cereal - maybe oatmeal - and try it again.

I've been eating Tsampa every morning for the last two or three weeks with a 1/3 of a cup of warm 1%milk. I do not feel hungry until lunch and have lost 4 or 5 lbs. I love this stuff

Best morning cereal I have ever had. Perfect for backpacking or just adding to your regular meal, don't get hungry like I used too. This stuff is amazing.

Delicious and filling. Perfect fuel for breakfast an activity filled day. Also great sprinkled on top of yogurt or chia pudding.

Healthy and tasty, a great start to the day. I highly recommend this product.
