This part broke off on my Toro SuperRecycler lawn mower and I ordered this Ryobi replacement for it. It works great and fits like a glove. Super easy to install, just mount it and tighten it up.

Simple to install, no tools required. I loosened the old one, then pulled it off. Put this new one on and tightened it up. My old collar had stripped the threads due to being tightened (overtightened?). This new one is holding up fine so far. 👍🙂

Essential part

So there I am out in the yard failing at trimming a tree with my Ryobi 40v pole saw when I get frustrated and overtighten the clamp coupler, breaking it. I look at Home Depot and to my shock they don't sell this part, so I found the replacement on Amazon. This thing works great. All my expand it line tools are back in service. It's an exact replacement for the part. Even picked up an extra in preparation for my next cliche tantrum during a yard project. If they only came with a new pair of white New Balances I'd be set.

The most difficult part of this part is taking off the old one. Otherwise, it’s the perfect replacement and slides right into place where the previous not tightening one was. I found the easiest way to get off the old clamp is to loosen the old stripped out collar clamp as far as it will go, possibly removing the bolt, then grab a tool (pliers, wrench) to leverage the opening further. The old clamp will slide off. Find the indent portion of the clamp to reinstall the new one in the proper location and tighten. Now back to work!

Is an exact replacement for my stripped out part.

I had to replace this part for my old Ryobi petrol whipper snipper.I went to a few mower maintenance shops but no one had one or could locate one.Went to the local Ryobi dealer and were told by Ryobi they no longer made this part.However I was certain that this part was still the same as what was used on the new models.So I turned to Amazon and even though the model number did not match my model I took a gamble and purchased it and guess what it fits perfectly.This has saved me throwing the old petrol one out and replacing the whole thing.Easy to remove the old one and just as easy to put this new one on.
