I ordered a medium because the reviews stated they were running extremely large. I guess I focused on the word "Extremely" I normally wear a large so I ordered a medium and it fits great, but when I'm doing physical work in it, it is tight along the chest and shoulder blades. If I ordered a large, not sure how it would have fit. Even with it being a little too tight, I love this jacket. It's really warm too. I figured, I could wear this under my tactical vest and it works perfect for that. I washed the jacket and it became tighter so my wife suggested for future washes to wash it normally but only dry it about 60% of the way and let it air dry the rest. The future will tell on this one!Upon arrival I inspected all the seams and zippers. One seam wasn't sewn well so instead of sending it back I just broke out my sewing kit and re-enforced the seam. Most of the seams were sewn well and only time and use will tell if they jacket will hold up. The zippers could be of better quality, but none of them have broken, snagged, or gotten out of alignment. Because the material is loose around the zipper, it normally takes two hands to open a zipper, so I took some machine oil (sewing machine oil) and rubbed it along each zipper and now they're all easily opened with one hand. Don't over oil it, just dab it on your fingers and run it along the teeth. If you wash the jacket, you'll have to oil it again.The hood is really heavy and thick. I'm not a hood guy at all. None of the jackets have them and I prefer a cold cap so my vision isn't impaired; however, I think I'll keep this hood. I plan to add some Velcro tabs near the base of the collar on the back, roll the hood up and tie it down with the Velcro straps to get it out of the way.For the price, it's a great addition to my outdoor gear, but it can also be worn as an everyday jacket as well. I plan to order one now in grey.

This jacket is warm, comfy and has many pockets to hold items. Perfect forOutdoor activities when you don’t want to have bulky layers. Price is perfect in comparison to other similar jackets.

Purchased this because I can't afford a Condor or similar $100+ fleece. Sure, it's made in China, but ask yourself: are there any USA-based knockoff manufacturers who can offer the same product at a competitive price? Not that I've found here.Enough of that. Onto the nitty gritty.The first thing you should know is that these are sized somewhat slim/fit/athletic. So, if you're big, stocky, a little overweight around the midsection, etc. this might feel a bit snug (maybe even tight). Note that the size chart included in the product images reads "Asian sizes". These are not North American sizes. I'm a big guy and even though the XL fits me perfectly with just a t-shirt underneath, I'm one of those people that would rather have a little extra room for underlying layers.This fleece jacket is nice and warm. I totally dig the style. I'm not seeing all of the real problems that previous reviewers mentioned (ie., 2 right arms), though I did notice that the thumb holes are a little tight (that will probably change over time and with use). The pockets are well placed, roomy; the zippers move smoothly; and the hood is a good size. The soft visor is a nice touch.Overall, the material is good, warm, sturdy, and although the stitching could could use some reinforcement, it seems that it will hold up reasonably well in the interim.

This is a roastie, and toasty warm jacket with at least 7 pockets everywhere including along the sleeves and even on the back. I had worn threadbare a jacket with quite a few pockets. I like to have lots of pockets so I can have available many things I might need at any time. Great chilly days jacket with 9 pockets everywhere! It even has a dedicated pocket for a pen. It has a comfy hood, which can not be rolled up since it is of a medium-thick material. It has adjustment ties at the bottom to secure the bottom so wind will not blow up into the jacket. They seemed to have thought of everything in designing this jacket. I have been looking for a jacket just like this, but unable to discover any even approaching it, so have been constantly disappointed in my searches on Lands End, Eddie Bauer, Columbia, and others, all of which were more expensive. I was unaware of this firm, "Tacvasen," which upon visiting their own website have been blown away by many of their other jackets and purchased two others. The craftsmanship of the construction seems well made. Time will tell. Shipping was quick.

When you have had your zippers on the right hand side for 53 years, to put it to the other side is really frustrating.I am not sure what people are saying about running big. I am 6' 3" 220 lbs athletic build, always wear an extra large, this fit true to size.Weight of fleece, quality seems good... just the dang zipper and zipper quality. I actually think I will have a friend sew in a YKK zipper, heavy duty and put it on the right side.

Surprised at how thick the fleece was and how well made for $38! Has some wind resistance and is warm. I am 5'9" and 162 lbs athletic build, bought a large and have room for a layer or 2. I'd say a relaxed fit. Sleeves are about right for a performance garment, length is good. Zippers work well. We'll see how well it holds up. I bought a medium TAD a while back but it was so tight under the arms and choked me when I zipped it up all the way, I sent it back and they charged a restocking fee and made me pay shipping. They had no other size in stock, poor customer service. You can't beat this deal! Black is good looking in my opinion. Amazon never ceases to amaze...

Very warm, great midlayer. Fits like a glove. Was staying in Wisconsin for the winter and this kept me very warm, in fact almost too hot in 0 degree weather as a midlayer. Has lots of pockets and Velcro for patches. Only problem I had with it is some along the length of the right arm keeps scratching me, but I'm sure I could probably find it and fix it with a scissors. One thing I will say is the thumb holes are not big enough for my thumbs to go thru whatsoever, and the arm length makes them obsolete. I would give it 4 stars.

I'm 6' 225lb and an XL jacket fits perfect. - Jacket looks amazing and is warm in cold weather. Anything below -5 and you need layering underneath.- Lots of zippered pockets (Back of jacket has 2 large zippers to "fanny pack" a set of mitts or hat etc)- Velcro on shoulders for your "Morale" patches!- Has a hood that has a "Ball Cap" style soft brim.- Zippers have been "No Problem" smooth and easy to use.- Internal "Draw Strings" in the waist for a snug fit when windy.Cons - "Thumb Holes" on end of sleeve's were sewn a bit small - Some "loose" threading, but a very minor issue. Easily taken care of.Overall : Fantastic Jacket! Worth the purchase price! Well built, nice and warm. The front pockets are a little higher on the body than I like, but overall it is good.

Perfect spring/fall jacket. This was built with tactical in mind. It's cut with extra room for moving, bending and twisting, not a slim fashion fit. I'm 6'0'' and 150lbs. I usually wear a North America medium and I purchased a medium. It fits great just like I hoped. There's 'loop' on each shoulder for those that want to Velcro on morale patches. The pockets all have zippers so your stuff can stay secure if you’re crawling around in the woods. Front pockets are higher up, there's 2 pockets on the kidneys and pockets on the sleeves. The hood is better than average. It has a neat soft bill/visor and the seam on the hood runs east-west (ear to ear vs forehead to back of neck) so it doesn't give you a pointy shape head like a hoodie. It also has finger holes like yoga clothes so you can keep your hands somewhat warm. Material is soft polar fleece not stiff cotton or nylon so it will be quiet in the woods and very comfortable. It's surprisingly thick & warm, not like some thin polar-fleece you get at a bargain store. There's even some better than average elastic draw strings at the waist.It did arrive in proper OD green, not pea soup like it may appear in these pics. I like it so much I may even order it in ‘sand’ so I have a green and a tan option depending on team color requirements. Jacket is exactly what I expected.Finally I must say the main motivation for choosing this jacket is that I wanted it now and I didn't want to spend a lot. It was available with Prime and it wasn't expensive.

Fit as expected. I'm 5'9"/140lbs and bought medium, but small would have been just fine (I prefer to wear layers under this, but if you want it the other way around, buy smaller). Love the thumb holes and hole for ear buds on left arm. Not exactly sure what good the left forearm pocket is good for as it's pretty small, but it's not a problem. The hood is great: covers and warms the head without affecting peripheral vision like standard hoodies. In the picture, it looks like the main hand pockets are way too high, but they feel natural and are nice and large. Only criticism would be no inside pockets, when this could have been easily done. It's almost as if it was DESIGNED for two inside pockets but forgot to sew the bottom of the pockets. Again, not a big deal. BONUS: doesn't seem to attract cat or dog hair that badly. Great sweater jacket. Thanks for making it :)

After 2 months of daily wear. Build quality is good. Stitching still sturdy and holding. No snags or fraying.Material is lightweight and about medium thickness. With a sweater underneath it was warm enough for me on a -10C day. The zipper is not the best quality though. It always gets snagged and doesn't always line up with itself properly. It could be user error, but if you have to fiddle with a zipper just to open or close it then it's not the best quality.
