Great knee brace
This is the best knee brace I’ve ever had. Great support, good materials, and comfortable. ACL surgery a couple of years ago, works for basketball.

Solid lateral support -does not inhibit general movement
Purchased to support interior left knee pain that is likely related to sprained MCL or tendinitis. Used for skiing 10 out of 12 days and it worked great. Offered great support and prevention of internal rotation or flexing. Did not inhibit skiing at all and support gave added and necessary confidence to the endeavor.

Hurts
The hinges dig into your knee joint. Very uncomfortable if you wear it to bed. The bars are tight down your legs

It might work if you have skinny calves. But if you have muscle down there it’ll stab it.
I really wanted this thing to be all it was cracked up to be.In shorts the Velcro straps cut my other leg, and the lower portion of the brace aggressively stabs into my calf when I’m walking. The brace is made of nice material and very heavy duty. The straps should all end on the left side (for left leg and right side for right) with the Velcro facing outwards, and the lower metal hinge should be heavily padded, not just shoved in a heavy duty sleeve.I really wanted this thing to be better than the McDavis but it’s not. It’s more comfortable if I’m laying down not doing anything, but that’s not why I bought it lol.

Full review for folks with torn ligaments
I have a fully torn pcl in my left knee, which I bought this brace for. I tore it about 8 years ago, it healed (sort of) and it tore again a couple months ago. I also have an older version of the same brace I would say I prefer. This one slides on like a sock, while the old one you could strap straight to your leg as if you already had shoes on. This new brace doesn't quite stay in place as well, nor is it quite as stable, so for the same price I paid 8 years ago it was a little disappointing. However, it does make my knee pain go from a 7 or 8 down to about a 2 or 3, so all in all, excellent brace :) I would highly recommend this to anyone with torn ligaments or otherwise destabilized knee

The best secure, simple, safe and less bulky, the most severe knee and leg injuries and fractures
Best brace so far for my severe Distal Femur Fracture.I have had bulkier braces, and that actually made them unsafe because they were so clumsy. This one is still a little bulky but I have not found one less so.ALSO this race does not slide down your leg like most of the other braces. It does not slide down because one of the straps is just above the top of the calf muscle which prevents it from sliding down.ALSO this I one of the easiest braces to put on. You lose it on your leg, so you don’t have the hassle of velcro-ing the brave together, it is already together. And the 4 Velcro straps are in place and just needs seconds to tighten them to your liking.ALSO the FULLSTOP metal braces on each side are not complicated and should stop a hyper-extension or severe instability of the knee area.

Almost 10 years of stability and support 💪🏾🙏🏾❤️
I’ve had this brace almost 10 years and has kept me very stable after 4 knee surgeries. The padding is finally starting to fall apart but I’ve used this thing for everything from sports to carrying patients as a nurse. I’ve been recommending this brace for years especially if you free from instability or buckling, and am about to purchase my second one!

Measure your leg, don’t guess like all the bad reviewers!
I read the directions which say, measure you leg., therefore I did (2X for good measure) I’m the exact size my measurements said I would be. Their fitment is clearly correct. My guess people think they wear a size small pant they, wear a small brace. Absolutely not. I wear a S/M pant, I’m 5’3 137lbs and I’m in a size large brace. Just for reference. I definitely noticed the feeling of stability while wearing. Although this will not stop all dislocations, it will get the major ones! I have a completely torn ACL with a meniscus tear and massive bruising of the tibia from an agressive dislocation. I can’t have surgery for 3/4 months and I have a busy schedule. I have used Don Joy in the past for my other knee (ACL reconstruction & meniscectomy) but it was a custom. Honestly I don’t feel a lot of difference in stability between the custom and this one. Obviously fit and finish but this is a quality piece for the price. Fits like a glove. I did adjust it about every hour. But that’s to be expected.I’ll reiterate, just measure your leg properly and don’t guess. You won’t have to worry about a return if you do that.
