This project has a great taste! Healthy alternative to beef.

It’s wonderful for the dedicated pescatarian, I’m mostly vegetarian but gratefully enjoy very good fish when it’s offered to me , prepared with a loving hand. This tastes and feels somehow special not as artificially processed or handled and it is really tasty. Very nice when you’d like a pure protein mouthful within hands reach, no waiting ! It is not inexpensive, but none of them are , but , this feels more worth it. I ration myself, only a taste now and again and can make it last almost a month, trying diligently to forget it’s there , in between most otherwise very considered healthy eating. For almost 30 years me, my father and brothers would run a smokehouse for a village revival each year.We made jerky, smoked ribs, fish, bacon, hams, turkey breast, chickens, various wings & sausages etc etc.I never even thought of making jerky out of salmon.I am glad I tried. The marinade is subtle but works with the natural salt in the fish.Kudos to knowing the salts get stronger with dehydration so the balance with slight sweet is perfect.

The initial smell when you open his bag is pretty bad but what do you expect when it's fish if you're somebody like sardines and stuff like that this might be something for you if not I don't recommend it.

I was worried after the mixed reviews but the package I got seems good, I mean it obviously has a fish smell because it's fish, I wanted to try this since I actually went to Alaska and got salmon jerky there and liked it and wanted to see what I could find online, and this was very comparable to the quality I got there from what I can tell, I had gotten a different flavor there but the texture was very similar, I saw some reviews saying some pieces were too hard to chew but I didn't experience that, I just bite its the pieces layer by layer since you can see the layers in fish, unless you're tryin to chew the whole piece at once, I don't see any difficulty

So I accidentally ate the whole bag in one sitting. Lol. I’ve been a pescatarian for 10+ years and loved jerky as a kid and this stuff is just what I was hoping for. It’s salty, but not TOO much (as someone who drinks 80+ ounces of water a day, I don’t mind adding a bit more salt into my diet too). Not fishy, tasted fresh, awesome texture, good sized chunks and hardly crumbly. I only wish they sold bigger packs!

I was very disappointed with this product when I opened my package and all of the jerky was molted. My question is how long do you have to have jerky for it to mold. I'm not sure how these people stores their products but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to check the item before sending it there is a clear window on the package with shows you the item inside and you can clearly see the enormous amount of mold on the jerky.I absolutely love beef jerky and I would eat it all the time for one of my healthy snacks. But when I became a pescatarian I could no longer eat beef jerky so a friend of mine told me about the same in jerky so I decided to order it. I will not be ordering this product again. I'll also be sending the back for my money back is products too expensive to be getting something that you cannot enjoy.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas back in September. I kept it in the basement cool and dry. When she opened the Teriyaki bag Christmas morning it was covered in white fluffy mold. The other 2 bags look fine. The outdate on the moldy bag is 8/1/24. Too late to return. Cannot recommend and will not order again. Expensive mistake.
