By Colleen Hoover It Ends With Us And Ugly Love Two Books Combo

Ugly Love - Hands downs one of the best books I’ve ever read. It had everything! I laughed, I UGLY cried and it was steamy! I am deeply attached to the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!It Ends With Us - I am conflicted. The book was well written. I am still trying to accept how a character I love so much could be written to make such terrible choices. 😭 SPOILER: The biggest part of me wishes things were different… when Ryle asked for help, I wish we could have seen him get the help he needed! I am still looking forward to the next book... only out of curiosity, not excitement. I want to see what happens to all of these characters. (Oh! Several pages were out of order and mixed up towards the end of the book. I requested a replacement and they sent it next day. It just put a damper on the mood because I was dying to know what happened and the pages weren’t there!!)

I have read 5 of Colleen's books so far. I have enjoyed everyone of them. She is a great character writer.

You will not be disappointed. These books are so good and the price for both, you cannot beat it!

“It Ends with Us” was a very evocative read and one that I finished in less than 24 hours of starting it. The book at times can get pretty cheesy on some pages when it comes to the whole “naked truth” thing they do and just in general while the story plays out, but I suppose that’s what we sign up for when we decide to read romance novels. Colleen Hoover has a way of painting the picture of the fairy tail relationship that most women at one point or another during their lifetime, and in this fairy tail, she reveals some twisted realities of what that love can become. This book starts off hot and heavy within the first few pages and then twists to more of like a high school flirtation story where things seem a tad coincidental and unrealistic until finally, things seem too good to be true… and they are. One thing I do think could have made this book a 5 star is if the events and story with Lily and Ryle was a little more dragged out. There were quite a few chapters that began with “6 months later” “11 months later” etc, and I feel like that really made the story progress a tad too quickly. Their story could have been broken down into either a bigger book, or even a second book that allowed some of the events that took place to really feel like it had a resolution. All together, I loved the book and yet again Colleen Hoover has given me another book I simply couldn’t put down.

This review is for both Ugly Love, and It ends With Us. I enjoyed reading both of these books. You can feel whaat the characters are feeling and that amazing to me.
