Good Replacement FOB for 2011 FJ Cruiser
Right our of the box, I was impressed with the thickness of the fob plastic and the 4 heavy duty TORX screws that came with it. Everything went together very easily and I added a few of the included shims, more as a precaution rather than really needing them. It's been a month and the fob has held up very well, my FJ being my daily driver and family car. I keep my keys on me all day, so the fob gets a little more abuse compared to someone who places their keys in a desk for the day. It's not the most attractive design, but can't go wrong for the price and quality. Besides the aesthetics, the only other improvement I can suggest is adding button labels.

Works for 2012 FJ Cruiser!
The key housing is robust and seems like it will last. I used it to replace the housing for my 2012 FJ Cruiser key - it fit with great. I ended up using two of the included shims to ensure they key fit tight in the housing (5 were included). The only thing I don't like is the glossy finish, I would have preferred matte (more in line with the finish on the original fob).I've included a photo of the front and back, and also a photo of the key in the sun to try and capture the level of gloss.

Works perfectly for 2002 Landcruiser
These key fob shells worked perfectly for my 2002 Landcruiser keys. Both of my original factory keys had cracked/broken shells so I was figuring I'd have to go get new factory keys made for some absurd cost... but for $20ish for the pair these sure seemed attractive, even if I had to modify them or they ended up not working. Turns out great! The one trick was that my original keys had plastic very stubbornly attached to the metal part of the key, the "T" at the top. I started out filing away at that plastic to try to shape it to fit the new shell, then discovered that the metal under that plastic was actually the right shape. So it was just a bit of work to get the plastic off, then with the bare metal exposed it fit perfectly with a couple of the included plastic shims to make it fit tightly. These do not use the little screw that the factory shell had holding itself together and the key into the shell. I considered drilling a little hole and installing that screw, but decided against it once I got the shims right to tighten up the key. If they end up loosening up over time I'll go back and add that little hole and install the screw.Do yourself a favor and replace the battery while you're at it, and these should be good to go for years!

Did not fit my FJ key fob, cost me to send it back, so I didn't bother for a $3 return

Good for the price
Good for the price. Lasted about 10 months on a non daily driver 2004 Land Cruiser. Replaced with Yota MD at 8 times the price, so could have bought a whole bunch more of these and been ahead of the game financially still. HahaThe hardware is higher end Torx.Simple to transfer the blade and transmitter over.

Really great for 9 months!
This was the tightest closing key shell I had found for my 2000 Land Cruiser. I love the 2 "big" screws that hold the shell together. I drive the LC every day and keep the key on a key ring. Unfortunately, after 9 months, the part that keeps the key on the key ring broke.
