Very nice towel! But it's too expensive, and not quite big enough.
This is a really nice towel! I think it's far too expensive for one microfiber towel, but as a towel, it's pretty darn nice. It's very thin and easily foldable/rollable for storage and transport. It holds a good amount of water, and is easy to use. Overall, I like it a lot.It's a kind of odd size for a towel, being long and skinny, but it's a useful size for drying off after a workout, or shower. It's wide enough to wrap around your shoulders, but not a huge bath towel. Nicely sized for carrying along with you, but big enough to use after a shower, although it's not quite long enough fully wrap around most people. Don't expect to wear this around your waist and keep everything covered.I tested this towel with a container of water and found that it was able to absorb a full THREE cups of water before becoming saturated. That seems like a lot to me, especially for something so compact. I used it after a shower was easily able to dry myself off completely, which is great considering this is about half the size of my usual bath towel. Plus, with it's built-in hanging strap, it's easy to hang on a hook for drying.I was also impressed by how thin this is. I'd estimate it's about half the thickness of a traditional towel. The embroidery is flawless and the stitching around the sides is perfectly uniform with no defects.Like I said, overall, this is a really nice towel. But it's too expensive. At over $20 for ONE towel, it's considerably more expensive than similar items on Amazon. This item, for example, contains THREE microfiber towels, including one full-size bath towel, for almost exactly the same price! Microfiber Travel Towel Set (3 Piece) with Large 30 X 60" Body Towel | Ultra-absorbent, Antibacterial, Quick Dry | Includes Handy Mesh Storage & Carry Bag (Dark Green) I don't want to knock this Aoraki towel, because it IS very nice, but you can get a lot more for your money with another brand.PROS:- Extremely absorbent- Built-in hanging strap- Has a good, not-too-big size design- Includes mesh carrying bagCONS:- Expensive- Not quite long enough to wrap around the waist and keep everything modest
