This thing is great it also fits under the seat on an airplane i literally use it for everything for classes when I travel and at theme parks. Love love love it

My daughter had taken this on a few airplane trips. It has held up.

Was very happy it had a lot of compartments. The only disadvantage was it seemed that the carrying handle was a little flimsy and just after one trip seemed to loosen up we will see if it hangs on. Other than that? Pretty impressed and I love the colors easy to find even when you put it in the overhead cabins. I did that on purpose LOL

What I love: This has a ton of nooks, crannies, pockets, and zippers. The padding in the laptop compartment seems plenty cushy. I keep my Galaxy tab, and my cell phone in there, with my 8 ft. charger/chord on the other side, and still have room for my little half-size clipboard and a bag lozenges. Today, I also have 3 - 1 inch binders, and 1 - 1.5 inch binder in the other compartment! And, it's tall enough that my triple wide clutch purse fits on top of the binders, and it still zips closed easily! The handle adjusts to its positions as easily as it always did. Lastly, I love that it holds 2 bottles of water! Sometimes I need two!Negatives: The wheels are not intended for stairs. They ask you to pick it up for stairs (by the cloth handle), and I pick it up for curbs, too. Not hard for me, but if you are elderly or have any back conditions, you may want to opt for something with larger wheels. At least the cloth carry handle is wide and comfortable. It has never given me any trouble. Also, because it rolls so easily, once in a while I forget how fast I'm walking. I go around a corner too fast, and it flips onto its side! So, take it easy on the turns! How dare they make it roll so well that that becomes a problem--LOL!But, the reason they lost a star, is because the size of the bag tapers too soon. Not a lot, but just a little. I can put one of those one-inch binders with my tab, but that would not give me room for another one with the three that are left. In other words, taking all of the "floor" space in one compartment will interfere with taking all of the "floor" space in the other, because then the other zipper won't close. On the other hand, that has only interfered with my plans once in these almost two years! So, it's only one star off, because, as you've read above, I really pack this thing. Worth every penny, and pretty besides!

I purchased the bag for my middle school daughter because she loved the pattern. Although I read the review on the handle problem, I still went ahead because I thought it might be an isolated case, and even if the problem did occur later, it would be covered under the manufacturer's three year warranty. I was wrong! In less than three months, the handle malfunctioned - it could not be pushed down. By all means, my daughter used it normally. She is a gentle girl and takes care of her things. The bag still looked very new, and there was no physical damage at all. I contacted the seller. Their reply was that manufacturer "stated if the handled worked properly initially, the handle housing must have been damaged by some sort of shock and causing the housing unit to be bent. This would not be covered under the warranty as, only manufacturer defectives would be covered". This was a very irresponsible statement made by the manufacturer and the seller. It is ridiculous that without asking for any information or looking at the bag, a conclusion was made that it was the customer's fault and not a manufacturer's defect. The seller said they could not help me and asked me to contact the manufacturer directly. I then looked up the manufacturer JWorld's webiste. There was NO phone number listed on the website, only email contacts. I have sent them two separate emails and to date still have not heard from them. While JWorld's bags do look pretty, quality is clearly an issue, and the manufacturer's warranty is a hoax.Update on January 9, 2013 - The manufacturer responded after two emails and the above post. They sent me instructions to take out the handle and said they would send me a replacement handle. I spent some time to take out the handle, wrote a reminder email to them and expected the new handle would come soon. Two weeks later, I still had not received anything nor did I hear from them again. I sent them an email again, inquiring about when they were going to ship the handle - no response from the maunfacturer. After a week, I sent another email - no response again. I'm going to write them an email again today.

Overall the bag is fine, but the handle breaks easily. And there’s no fix for it. The handle becomes stuck and I’ve applied WD40 to fix but does not work. It lasts about a year. I guess that’s ok for the price point.
