This is a relatively light design. This did a good job for me. I was being a little paranoid in airtag on my car and this actually was able to find one. It detected it pretty much right away after I went over it. It will alert you. You do have to hover over the area you are searching. It is not something that you can just hold in the middle of the room and it will detect all around. You have to be semi closer to the device. You wave this over it. Does it detect my spy cam? Yes it does. I waved it over the area and it does alert me that there is something there. It will not tell you what it is but it will tell you something is there and what it is broad casting. I actually will last pretty long on one charge. The device is pretty easy to read. It is not highly complex device. You can set the device sensitivity. The speaker is pretty loud if you happen to go over anything it detects. There is a simple power switch that give you more or less power. It is made of plastic as I assume the metal could interfere with the signal. It is a light weight detector. You can charge it via USB. Overall this device is great to have if you want something to help you detect any hidden cameras or GPS devices. You could use this at say an airbnb if you are paranoid. I will say this did detect an airtag on my car which I ran over after I found it. It was scary but glad to know this device will work. It does have to be close to the area you are trying to search. It will beep depending on what band you are looking for but it will not tell you what the device is but only the signal. The lights are not annoying and it is pretty easy to change the settings. There is no kind of bag to carry anything but this is a pretty sturdy device. It is long but not very heavy. It is something to invest if you want a bit more security.

It has been very helpful. I've been looking into how to beat perform sweeps and so far I've come to realize that with this tool, once you know how to use it, you can find it all. It's pretty self explanatory on the directions booklet as well

I purchased this Scanning device for a variety of reasons and locations to use it. Mainly because I have a family to protect and this detector will do just that. A GPS tracking device was found on my daughter's car during routine maintenance so I wanted something reliable to scan and search out such things. This particular model seemed to be the most upgraded and reliable. I tested this item at the workplace where I know hidden cameras exist and it immediately picked up on that. Tried it at home where I do own a few nanny cams and again this device alerted me to thier exact presence. This handy device can be used to do a clean sweep if you are in the office or during important meetings so information is not shared with competitors. This also would be very ideal on vacations at hotels or at an airBNB. Just sweep the room with the the detector wand and anything that puts outa magnetic field or rf energy of any kind will be found out. This item also double in a remarkable safety feature as it can also detect radiation. For any of these features there is an audible notification or you can incorporate a silent mode if you wish to remain undetected during your search for any type of spying devices. Listening devices will also be picked up as well. This item is especially perfect in today's world where spying is so much easier and certainly easier to get away with until now.
