NEWCARE Gold Plated DisplayPort to HDMI/VGA/DVI Male to Female 4-in-1 Adapter in Black

This was just what I needed to attach my TV to my computer so I can use it as a second monitor or to watch videos on the larger TV screen rather than trying to use the awkward internet app on the tv.

I bought this unit in order to mirror my 2nd monitor on a HDMI TV. Essentially, I wanted my DP out to provide the same signal to both my monitor (connected via DVI) and my TV (connected via HDMI). Unfortunately, it could not handle displaying to both sources like I expected. DVI output worked fine on its own but HDMI output by itself resulted in red scan lines and flickering. Neither display worked when I tried to run them together. Thankfully though, using VGA out and DVI out at the same time DOES work so I was able to use that instead.I contacted Aoken prior to posting this review and must say that they where EXTREMELY helpful. They even went so far as to send me a 2nd unit to try! Needless to say, I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend working with them in the future!

Everything I thought I was getting; all monitors work without any flashing whatsoever. So, I am happy that I got it on time and that everything works!

NOT AS DESCRIBED. It states it will extend to multiple displays, but doesnt. I plug two monitors into the device and then plugged it into my laptop it will extend my laptop display to one of the monitors but the two monitors detached from my laptop are copies or duplicates not extended to each other. So if you're looking to use this for just a single additional monitor it would work but not for multiple monitors. I'm returning since it doesn't work as described.

This item is ok but it doesn't work as advertised. I would give 2.5 stars if I could. It doesn't let you connect all your devices at the same time as it claims. I have an an HP Elitebook laptop, Acer monitor and a Phillips HD TV that I use as an extra monitor. I connect the monitor via VGA and the Philips via HDMI. I can get the extended mode to work with my laptop built in display and one device or the other but not both. I've searched high and low for solution to this but have not found anything yet. I thought about returning it but I can't find anything else that will do what I need so I will just keep it and use it with only one extra monitor attached. I'm a little dissapointed to say the least.

These are perfect for an E-Dock Station for Dell laptops. Used to hook the laptop up to a TV using HDMI. I recommend these over the straight adapters because these have a cable between the connections helps prevent damage to the adapter. Highly Recommend!

Love this!!!! This adapter gets you ready for any presentation scenario you come across. If you often do presentations outside of your office this adapter is excellent. When you present in someone else's conference room you never know what video conenction they have. i.e. dvi, hdmi, vga, etc. This adapter prepares you for any of those scenarios.

I liked that the delivery was quick. I was watching video on my Television in no time. The only thing is, is that I need to listen to the audio from my computer. Will not play audio on my TV.
