I can tell the difference between the Kikkoman soy sauce from Costco and this one. Much less salty and more soy flavor. Recommended.

I've now ordered this low so organic soy sauce. I like it. It tastes like full flavor - not salt reduced. I really like it. Also, in my opinion - it's a good price for the size. At least it is for me locally. Glass bottle. I would feel comfortable recommending it for a try. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Last one lost its flavor. Make sure to cap it correctly. Air affects the taste.

Good flavor perfect for stir fry

I like that it's organic but despite it being Asian ("Product of China" to be exact) it doesn't taste authentic at all. Tastes like cheap Kikkoman; not worth the cost and definitely not for gifting despite the included box.Several years ago I used to buy a very good tasting soy sauce next to the sushi counter at my local Kroger; I believe it was "Tsunami" brand. It had a deep, freshly brewed flavor, umami flavor. Unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued so I've been looking for a replacement. This isn't it. I will use it up but I won't be repurchasing.

I’ve been using another brand of black garlic shoyu for the last year. I liked it a lot but I decided to mix it up and bought a fancy clay bottle aged for years that everyone attests is the best (check the rankings.)I bought this as an after thought and have been wildly impressed. We use a lot of soy sauce in our house and after using half this bottle, it’s my new number one.It’s low sodium, but still has full flavor. It’s just doesn’t burn my tongue with salt.It’s versatile. It works great as an umami agent in soups, stews, and ramens. It doesn’t overpower the other flavors. But it’s also great with sushi or dumplings. It compliments shashimi allowing you to taste the fish and the sauce, not just the soy. It also compliments pork and veggie-only dumplings. The veggie-only dumplings always taste off balance and this brand of soy evens it out better than all the other brands I’ve tried.I highly recommend this.
