Purchased this "Pawpaw" ointment for my daughter thinking it was Dr. Lucas.....to my suprise when it arrived today it wasn't. It was ultimate red and Dr. Pawpaw (my mistake). I applied it to my just woke up bare cheeks and lips just to try it and I LOVE it! It's so sheer, great consistency •not sticky at all! This was indeed what I like to call a happy accident.The tube does feel half full however this will last for at least a year as you only need a tiny, tiny amount. Great cost per wear if you view it that way.

After purchasing the peach one at ULTA, and coming here to purchase the red one after it being sold out.. the reviews concern me. It’s not 100% easy to use in this applicator but you’re not supposed to apply it to your lips straight out of the tube.. they have a smaller version with a lip application for that. This is more for full-size I’m okay with getting my fingers a little dirty n can clean up applicator. If you use it as blush you do the same thing: I typically massage onto the back of my hand and dot the product on with a single finger to get buildable color and precise application. If you use as blush, set with a powder or setting spray and remember you can reapply almost seamlessly.

The balm was very healing and moisturizing, and I had no issues with the texture, applicator, etc. as other reviewers did.Just be aware the red is nothing like the beautiful, bright cherry shown in photos they provide—it’s a muddy, brownish brick red that would be fine for some people, but it’s awful on me.I never would have bought the tinted balm had I known the actual color! Not a huge deal since it’s quite cheap and still useable around the house, but disappointing nonetheless.

This balm is amazing! The color is buildable, feels great on my skin. I use it on both cheeks and lips. I would highly recommend for those with sensitive skin also.

I have the Ultimate Red and Peach-Pink and I've used them both for years as lip and cheek makeup, and as overnight lip balm. I LOVE the colors, which are completely perfect for me. On top of that, these are the easiest, most-natural-looking and naturally formulated cosmetics products around. The pricing is amazing, and these are truly "multi-purpose". I'm going to buy clear for around my eyes, and try the Mocha and Orange as well! I have medium-olive, warm-toned skin and these colors are super flattering.
