Great for Chocolate Making.
I bought this for making chocolates and it works great. The chocolates pop out easily once set and I can use it several times during the same batch since the chocolate doesn't stick. I also love that I can tell if I've properly coated it with chocolate before filling - so many molds are brown which makes it harder to tell.

Very flimsy
Too flimsy for ice cubes, hot melted chocolate may fair better if you have it on a tray but overall not great on it's own it needs help.

Using with food chaining methods
I got this for my special needs son who is a problem eater. I am trying a technique to have him chew in an ice cube prior to eating a new food, to desentize the sensory input. So far so good as long as I use the food chaining technique

Too soft and small for ice
I found this item too soft, the water goes everywhere and it barely stays in the shapes of the tray. Also I find the shapes too small for ice, you almost need the entire tray for one glass... It's still alright for chocolate molding

That and by the time you got them out for use they looked like amorphous blobs
The plastic waved too much so you would spill most of the water as it got to the freezer. That and by the time you got them out for use they looked like amorphous blobs. Cute on paper but in reality not really.
