Flamenco
Good, solid foundational flamenco. Definitions and chord / scales are great!

LOVE IT
The exercises in the book are excellent for left hand strength and right hand speed. Even if you are not a flamenco player, or do not intend to focus on flamenco, the exercises help with everything. If you are into composition and theory (like myself), the beginning of the book is a nice introduction to the various styles of flamenco

Amazing material
I love this book, as a beginner flamenco guitarist I am learning a lot about the theory of flamenco and its techniques. The quality of the videos and audios are just excellent and the falsetas at the end are really beautiful. It will take me a while to learn them but I am doing my best. Finally I found a book that shows how flamenco music works in a very clear and intuitive way. I am really happy with this product!

Good falsetas but not very well written tabs
The falsetas featured in this book are outstanding, and the accompanying videos are also impressive. However, the tablature could be better crafted. To play them accurately, a strong sense of rhythm and a deep understanding of the compás are essential, as relying solely on the tabs might not always yield the best results due to occasional discrepancies in timing and some notes differing from what is demonstrated in the videos.

Video demonstrations set this book apart and price of admission
Not only are the exercises and demonstrations top notch but you're able to gain a thorough understanding of the style. The pieces are beautiful and challenging, as mentioned you should have a fundamental grasp of some Picado, Tremelo, Rasqueado techniques to get the most out of it but working through the material will prove to be very rewarding if you persevere.

Very Nice Exercises and Falsetas
I’ve been using Juan Martin’s books for some time, Solos Flamencos and El Arte Flamenco de la Guitarra, and can summarize my thoughts about Yago’s book by comparing and contrasting with Juan. Yago does a nice job producing exercises and etudes for various techniques in manageable little chunks that are fun and challenging, but are possible for an intermediate player to play. There are really beautiful little snippets. The videos are of excepcional quality and help tremendously. Yago’s material has the traditional cadences that are familiar from lessons I took long ago, but has a fresh and more modern feel. You can hear some little bits of his stellar Alma de Niño album. Juan’s book material is also very good but maybe a little more traditional.I’ve started learning a few of the easier falsetas, and the nice part is that they often build off the etudes. Many of the falsetas look a bit advanced, but I think I’ll get there. I do wish he had included some seguiriyas though. On the other hand, Juan has this system of progressing through different grades which is helpful. With Yago you kind of jump in, and there aren’t any complete, easy versions of songs. Juan walks you through progressively harder versions of the same thing.Anyways I appreciate this work, and am having fun working though it.

You will need a private teacher to get through this book.
All of the material presented in this book is really good but if you don't already have a pretty good understanding of flamenco you are going to have a hard time. The notation is fine and the performed recording are fantastic but they are VERY fast and they do not go into any detail in the recordings about where you are in the compas. There is also no way to slow down the video to better see what the hands are doing. You can slow the audio recordings but they get very robotic sounding when you do.If you are already pretty seasoned this might be a good book for you because all of the falsetas at the end are pretty cool. So for repertoire it is great. But you may still need someone to help get you through it.Overall, I am a little disappointed.
