Package Quantity:1 The sealing ring fits around the inside rim of the cover and forms a pressure-tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure cooker during cooking. When installing a sealing ring, work it into the cover in four small sections, for example, top, bottom , left and right. Work it into the groove a small section at a time until it is fully in place. Place the cover on the cooker body. Put one hand on the top center of the cover and push down firmly. Open and close the cover several times. my old one was still working but was very old, so I got this one....easy to install, but got scared when it seemed to big but remembered a video showing it would seem like it but it all goes into place....haven't used it yet though....

Presto Pressure Cooker "FAN"
This Presto Pressure Cooker Sealing Ring and Air Vent is an excellent product. If you need to replace the sealer/vent and don't know how to do it, go the Presto Pressure Cooker Webpage for instructions. I have used different Pressure Cooker brands as well as and electric IP, but ended up going back to the one I consider to be the BEST: The Presto Pressure Cooker!

Perfect replacement gasket for my Presto 4 Quart Pressure Cooker
I have an ancient Presto 4 quart pressure cooker prabably at least 60 years old and this is the prefect replacement gasket

Don't order for REALLY OLD Presto cookers
I'm 75 and inherited my Presto Pressure Cooker from my grandmother, so IT'S REALLY OLD. The gasket went out and I ordered the closest replacement I could guess would work. It did not.I called the company customer service and with a little back and forth the very nice lady determined they no longer make parts for this cooker 😥. More great product to the landfill.

Purchased the seal but was to big. The item said it would work for my pressure cooker but was over an inch to large. I wanted to return it but when I went to post office to do so shipping was more then the item! Guess I’m keeping it IF you have to return this for some reason know you’ll be paying the return postage
