Wow! Perfect fit! I bought this case because Google's Chromecast with Google TV is very slippery which makes it a magnet for your couch monster who likes to eat remotes and other small items! The Chromecast with Google TV remote is a great product however it is poorly designed. The slipperiness makes the remote slide all over the place. If you have it on your couch,IT WILL fall into the cushions or worse, right to the floor directly underneath. The case fits snuggly and offers a great grip that prevents it from sliding out of hands or your furniture. It also adds a little bit of to the dimensions of the slim remote,which also helps preventing it from sliding into cracks of your furniture. The case is also glow in the dark, offering you to locate the remote with the lights off. A great product that I will be ordering more for my other Chromecast with Google TV remotes in my house!!

This took a good while to ship directly from China... maybe they have some of these warehoused in the US by now, but it was worth waiting for regardless. This case adds a nice textured grip to the bottom of the Chromecast remote and I haven't yet dropped it on the floor again since having installed it. If you are having that problem then this should be a simple solution for you.I can't really say how severe of an impact this case could absorb. I didn't really buy it for that reason, it was just annoying to have the remote slip out of my hand occasionally and fall 3 feet onto a rug, which seemed to cause no damage even without a case.I like the blue glow in the dark version and it is easy to spot if it falls onto a couch cushion or a blanket while watching TV in the dark. The only mildly annoying thing is that the wrist strap color is a noticeably different shade of blue than that of the case itself; one shouldn't really need the strap anyway, since you should never be in danger of hurling it into your TV screen in a fashion infamously known to occur with some other remote/game controller.

The Google television remote can feel a bit "cheap" in terms of durability or craftsmanship. When my family had received it, we immediately felt it when we held the remote in our hands. Not wanting to chance having it break, we were really careful when using it but later decided to buy a case to put it within. The silicone case is decent, as it doesn't exactly help protect the remote if children were to bang it on surfaces or use it.The case can be easily removed, which is bad for children who might use it but good for cleaning the case or remote itself. The volume buttons aren't exactly having a special indent for easy pressing within the case, you'd just have to press a little harder to increase or decrease volume when needed.Overall, it's a decent buy for the Google remote.

This is one of the very few remote covers for the Chromecast with Google TV device. It ships from China and takes quite a while, but it is worth the wait. It is a perfect fit for the remote and the "grippiness" is just right... not too sticky that things stick to it and not too smooth that it doesn't provide a grip. I find those remotes to be almost too small for my hands but one I installed this cover on it, I have had no issues holding it. I bought the "red" version but it is not a true red but seems to have a lot of orange in it... maybe you'd call it coral red? That said, it is a pleasing shade. I like it so much that I've ordered two more for my other CCwGTV units!

This excellent silicone cover for the Chromecast with Google TV actually makes the remote useable. Without this cover/case the tiny, light remote slips right out of my hands. Pressing any button would also cause it to slip. Google should include one of these with each Chromecast. This cover leaves the face of the remote open, which I prefer. All the cover needs to do is make the body of the remote holdable while you slide your thumb around the front buttons. The side volume up and down still work just fine. The quality of the silicone material seems to be excellent, and the fit is perfect.
