Going from no shaker, jigger, strainer, and muddler to this was a huge step. I always thought that I could just an old cup to mix, a skinny spoon to muddle, and a measuring cup to round out shots, but this just made the whole process so much siimpler! Yes! the muddler makes a difference--you can't just use a spoon for this. i tried this on mint, lemon, and orange and the fragrance is much more exaggerated when using a true muddler. having a real shaker helps when i'm making a larger drink or a drink with ice as it helps it dilute/mix better.The jigger is basically a shot glass but helps in measuring half doses (0.5oz or 0.75oz) as most cocktails may require that amount of lemon juice or specialty liquers.This comes with a cover that I rarely use so that wasn't very necessary.Overall this is one of the best bartending kits you can get for the money. I highly recommend in any household. Evne for people making mocktails, this can add an extra flair.

I got this as a gift for my son for the holidays and he absolutely love it! He really liked how complete and compact all the item fit inside the container inside a nice velvety bag. Perfect to transport to all of his future events and parties. Highly recommend, nice quality great price.
