Classic Sterling Silver Hoop Earring with Hand Made Rope Pattern

Description

I hand made these small hoops creating a rope pattern or texture by forging and twisting sterling silver wire. I then cut the wire with attention on both ends making sure they matched so as to have a minimum seam, and soldered closed. I then hammered slightly, polished, oxidized, and polished again the raised pattern to create contrast. Hoop diameter: 3/4" (20 mm) Total earring length from top of ear wire to bottom of hoop is 1 1/2" (40 mm).
