I don’t recommend this product for your makeup kit. I bought it and don’t plan to use it anymore. The container is surprisingly heavy, and the lid is not hinged. It comes completely off. I don’t know if it is bpa free. I might use it for painting, but for now, it’s just sitting in a box in my closet.

Q: is it dishwasher safe?

I haven’t done that, but I’m sure it is! It’s very sturdy material.

Q: If I put wet paint in the wells and it was tipped on its side, would they bleed over into other wells? Wanting to use this for painting when I travel.

I always try to keep the palette right side up and horizontal. When I put in my carrying case and it went sideways, the paint did leak over into the adjacent wells. The artist who recommended this palette also recommends keeping it level and not to tip it even when traveling. Hope this helps.

Q: Is it microwave safe? Looking to depot lipstick

No it’s plastic and rubber. I just smoosh my lipsticks and fill it.
