Fab value for money, does exactly what I needed it to!
I've started to record YouTube videos and I wanted to up the quality of my videos on the cheap. As I work from home and often take video meetings in a fairly dim corner of my office that doesn't get much sunlight, I figured it'd be great to use it for this purpose, too! I've already got a lamp that I can adjust the colour temperature and brightness on, but it's not a ring light so it can look very harsh when recording and cast a strong shadow. This ring light was a fraction of the cost I was expecting to find it for, and the fact it's a USB powered light means I can use it with my Chromebook as well as my PC. Using it with my webcam actually makes the subject (me) sharper which is a pleasant surprise, and generally ups the quality and finish of my videos. The photos I've included are without any light, and with the ring light on about medium brightness on the medium temperature setting (neither cool not warm). I love it! The only downside, which won't put me off using it, is the fact that the controls occasionally don't work - the buttons will sometimes not do what they're supposed to, like power off the light instead of dimming it, etc. For the price though, I'm extremely happy!

Very bright, remote is handy
Please be aware it doesn't work in laptop USB ports you'll need a USB mains plug, it turns off after a split second running off laptop/TV ports. Plug sold separately or use a spare USB plug.

You get what you pay for
In this life, there are fewer accurate proverbs than "You get what you pay for."This purchase fits that perfectly, as although it's OK - it flickers, which is frustrating. I wasn't expecting a great build quality and if I'm being honest I'm not expecting a long life expectancy either, as it was only £12.99.Please bear in mind this needs to be plugged into mains USB (not your monitor or laptop). It has good adjustments for brightness and colour temperature, but even when 'warm' still flickers which is very off-putting.If I was more serious about needing a better light, I would have spent more money - because as the saying goes..."You only get what you pay for!"I hope you found my experience helpful in making your decision.

Actually really nice
I thought it wasn't going to be very good but I was wrong. It's really nice for the price that you pay.But remember, it's quite small (just a bit over 6 inches). I'm not a serious vlogger/youtuber/whatever. I just use it for video calls and it works great. It DOES hurt my eyes if I have it on for more than an hour though.
