WASING10 Watt 1000 Lumens Lithium Ion LED Rechargeable Spotlight

We have been using this light at least once a night for about 20-30 minutes for dog walking. It was charged ONCE right after we got it on Jan. 13,2015. Also we had a problem one night during a torrential downpour which required a lot of digging in mud and this light got pretty wet and muddy plus banged around a little. Still works fine and still on the first charge. Not as bright as a fresh charge but more than adequate for our needs. If this torch continues to perform at the present level it will be the best light we ever bought.UPDATE: 9/16/2017. Light is still working and holding charge like it was new, and we still use it at least once a night. Goes so long between charges that we never even remember the last time we had to plug it in!UPDATE: 8/5/2018. Has been used for extended periods for lost cat, bear near our house, etc. Holds charge like new. Reliable and tougher than it looks.UPDATE: 8/22/2019. No change in performance. Still works like new. Got one for our adult son who also lives in a rural area where a good spotlight comes in handy after dark. He loves it.UPDATE: 10/8/2020. Still works like new. Dropped on concrete floor, broke lens loose, a few dabs of glue, no problem, still works. We use it all the time. Plumbing under the sink, auto repairs, looking for foxes under the shed (True!). Dirt, wet, cold, snow, nothing stops this light!UPDATE: 4/14/2021 More than 5 years of almost daily use and it still works great and holds a charge like new.UPDATE: 3/13/2022 Actually there is nothing to update because nothing has changed. Still works as good as the day we got it!! And it is still used on a daily basis.

I can't speak for the longetivity of this light because I've not had it long but I love the simplicity of it, charging is easy just pull cord out of rear end and plug in, light will be red on handle and when it's done will be green, the light itself is extremely bright and you don't want to put it in someone's face unless your using it as a weapon , yes it can be used for that purpose if need be, I live in the country and it's extremely dark, if I were to come up on something on my property whether it be animal or human I could use this for self defense, also the light bar on it which is 10 leds is also very very bright. The spotlight itself has a strobing feature, regular light or the brightest light which is the first push of the button. How to utilize the 4 features is explain in instructions you receive with this product. But it's a simple device and very powerful I can shoot a beam over 2 acres of land and see everything clear as day in pitch black darkness. I like the rechargeable feature and the 10 led light bar which can be used in power failures or as a flashlight as well. This light bar can also be blinding and light the way if need be. I give this 5 stars because it's worthy of it, if anything changes as far as quality or longetivity I will update my review but for now it gets my approval, I will not dispose of this light like some have suggested when batteries eventually give away, the batteries can be bought and my handy dandy skills allow me to open this open and replace them if need be. This light is worth every penny I gave for it. Go ahead and get you one you will not be disappointed ....

Honestly, I just wanted a throwaway lantern to hack up (to make a bright amber flashlight that won't attract bugs so much). But once I got it, I was so impressed, I decided to keep it as is.This thing functions remarkably well, and even the cheap-feeling material is one of its charms. If some random person saw it lying around, he'll probably think it's one of those outdated 6V lanterns. But it most certain isn't one of those! It sends out a tight beam out to insane distances. This is a spotlight, not a flood light. *BUT* if you need a flood light for close distance work, it has that, too, on the feet!It doesn't have too many useless modes to confuse users, either. It just has HIGH, MED, and STROBE, along with the separate flood light on its feet. The STROBE is almost good enough to knock people out!Looking inside, it appears to use two standard size (18650) Li-Ion cells, so even if the batteries expire, it should be easy enough to fix.If I had to nit pick, the power cord is a bit too rigid. More flexible cord would have made it easier to manage.

I have had the best of luck with 3- the other went to someone as a gift-Perhaps the quality has changed in the past couple of years. but I use at least one every day.Now if the quality is still the same as my purchases I would highly recommend; I've used it to search for my little dog (successfully) and to walk several blocks in the dead of night searching for a lost hearing aid-sadly I my brother and I each had one but althoughthey illuminated the streets fully, the aid was nowhere to be found. I don't have time to check this but look to see if the negative reviews are very recent while the positives for the most part are older.

Super Bright is not an overstatement! It's amazing with 2 little LED bulbs the intensity of the light from this unit. The center beam is blindingly bright, surrounded by a much larger halo of light. From my back porch to the workshop, maybe 20 feet, the center beam makes a light circle about 3 feet in diameter. This beam is ridiculously bright! I was able to easily light up the tops of giant oak trees 2 streets over!The LEDs in the handle are very very bright as well, will be perfect around a campsite and in the tent.***** DO NOT ALLOW YOUR KIDS OR PETS TO LOOK INTO THESE LIGHTS, NOT EVEN THE LESS INTENSE ONE ON THE HANDLE! ****The intensity of these lights hurt my eyes just peeking at them from the side. Press lightly a second time and the brightness decreases, 3rd press and it strobes.The power cord is hardwired directly into the interior of the body. Charged to a green light in a few hours. Very lightweight, and a shoulder strap is included. I mainly wanted something we could use on the lake at night fishing to see the shore and navigate by. This is perfect! It will light up trees with super bright light at 100 yards, so it is exactly what we need at night on the lakes.
