The brightness and affect in this led is good the app is a hit and miss because sometimes it doesn't want to work but it gets the job done. it uses Bluetooth to connect not Wi-Fi so no smart control.it comes with a remote control if you don't want to use the app but you'll be missing out on some more cool features, some of the button on the remote seems like they don't register properly for the effect that you select and feels a bit cheap.the adhesive is good but depending on what surface you're putting it on and how clean it is If you're just looking for a simple LED light with some effects it works well

Better then expected! Works as described and is perfect for my room project. I’m going to purchase more for my other projects. Came well packaged and delivered by date given. I’m happy with it for sure.

My daughter loves having a remote to adjust her lights right from her bed! And the brightness is amazing! We love these lights!!
