I always used clockwise trimmers so it wasn’t working very well for me switching over to the counter clockwise ones. Really like my Ryobi 40 volt mower and the power of the Ryobi power head that I use for trimming and edging. Finding this clockwise trimmer attachment makes my job so much easier and keeps me from having to make a bigger change. I’m thrilled.

Quality tool worth the money.

While a bit expensive, this string trimmer does get the job done.There is one important issue with the spool, that had I made this review during my initial attempts to restring it would have sent me ranting like a lunatic. Many spools have an indicator on them of which direction you need to wind the trimmer wire in order to get it to feed properly, this spool has a large arrow on it that says "rewind" inside of it. This arrow might lead you to believe that direction is the one which you are to "rewind" the spool with new wire, but it is simply an indicator of which direction to turn the spool in order to retract wire while the spool is on the shaft.There are two groves on the spool where the wire goes through the middle of the spool, those groves point the opposite direction of the misleading "rewind" arrow, and led me to finally just try winding the spool the opposite direction, resulting in a once again smooth feeding trimmer. Once I understood this, it was quite easy to wind the spool with new trimmer wire.So once again, the spool, if your is like mine, will need to be wound with new trimmer wire in the direction opposite the "Rewind" symbol on the spool itself. I ordered this as a replacement piece and it was delivered on time, and was easy to attach and begin using.Worth the money for an OEM piece.

This product didn’t even last a month stopped working in less than a month tried to contact the seller to return it for a replacement but no answer .Quality of the product is low and its value wasn’t worth the 117$ .

My man LOVES this trimmer. It said it was three times better than our other trimmer (which we bought not long ago). The cutter wire is very effective. I have a lot of edging work that needs doing every few months along the sidewalks and driveway. This was super fast to use and he accomplished it all very quickly. We have an extra battery from our other tool and it was great to just switch them out and keep going. We would definitely order this again.

Showed up on time, works fine, but feels flimsy. The next day after amazoning it I saw it at home depot for $20 less.

5 stars because this was inexpensive and exceeded my expectations for quality. There are much more expensive options, but compared to some of the other yard tools in the price range I have experience with I have been impressed with the Ryobi line.
