Q: Will this work on a 4.3 Chevy tbi

Its should 4.3 and 5.7 had the same set up as far as I know

I have a 95 5.7 tbi engine in s10 and it worked fine for me the only thing I had to do was buy different gaskets but that was cheap and any autozone will have.

Q: Will a bbc tbi unit fit this adapter

Yes it will if you get the 2" bore adapter. That's the same as the BBC TBI bore.
