Excellent quality tool
What a beautiful heat gun! USA made and so much better quality than that Chinese made crap! Works perfectly! Adjustable heat and fan speed levels for any job. A must have for the professional and DIY workers. You won't be disappointed. Worth every penny spent!!

Very useful
The heat level adjustment dial works very well. It has a broad range of heat, and decent air output for its size.

It works.
Got this because it’s made in USA. Just needed it for some shrink tubing.I like that you can stand it up and that it comes in a hard case. I’ve plenty of scrapers and the like; theirs are cheap and I threw them out.

An Awesome Addition to My Craft Room!
WOW! Having the right tools makes all the difference!! I’d been using a hair dryer to quicken drying of small DYI projects and thought that was fine. Then the accidental unrealized spillage of water on my new custom made dining table was discovered when I was setting the table for my son and his family’s visit “before COVID”. I was still in shock and speechless when my son walked in. My husband just pointed to the dining room. My son was quickly reassuring and ask if I had a heat gun and almost immediately said “never mind”and went outside. He brought his in from his trunk and immediately began to direct the heated air across the large ruined area, adjusting temperature as he believed was needed. And he told me to leave the room. In about 20 min he asked me to come in and look at one area of the large damaged area. I couldn’t see anything! We took time for the meal and then he was back to work drying the damaged area. In less than an hour I returned to check his progress and I could not identify where it had been!!!! I knew then I needed a heat gun—not the professional level my son was using but definitely an upgrade from my hairdryer!! I love this heat gun—it is adjustable, lightweight, and EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!! I can’t believe how much time I’ve saved in my various craft projects and a large re-do of the outside lamp fixtures. And I’m better prepared now should there be any spillage accidents! Did I say I LOVE THIS HEAT GUN?

Works great
Great gun for the price and has a wide, adjustable heat range.

I was hesitant because of the dial but this thing eats
Used it to throw a barrel on an upper and this thing made quick work of the job. Less than 5 minutes and I was done. I’m not sure if it’s really gets up to 930 degrees F but it definitely felt and acted like it. My only complaint is after running for a couple minutes on max heat it tends to smoke so be ready to blow on it and not set it down if you do that. Other than that I’d buy again.

Great for heat shrink
I use this mostly for heat shrink tubing in electronics applications. It works quite well and the temperature can be set low enough to not melt the heat shrink. Also, the back of the gun is wide enough to support it in a vertical position, which is handy. I didn't notice any hot spots in the plastic casing of the gun.

Not as good as the previous model
We liked an earlier version of this very heat gun. However, the new version of this model does not have a detachable “stream reducer” attachment that goes on the front of the nozzle. As a result, the hot air steam is significantly wider, reducing the efficacy of the tool when a narrow stream of hot air is desired, as in working with heat-shrink tubing or heating thermally sensitive electronic parts. Also, the power switch is awkward, making the instrument difficult to operate with one hand. That said, it did operate normally otherwise.
