Good sounding long lasting

Corroding too fast to a point where the new string set looks almost like my old one (6 months old)
The 5th string (135 gauge) was already mildly corroded when openng the package. Now even the other strings are corroding too fast inspite of regular application of lubricant and cleaner both before and after usage. Probably because the set was from an old stock which may have resulted in compromising the packaging and overall quality.
