Super fun and quick game for all ages!
If you're looking for a challenging, interactive, imagination-sparking game to play with the family....move along bc this ain't that game. If you're looking to get destroyed repeatedly by an 8-year-old whose paw-flicking abilities seem supernatural, look no further than A Game of Cat and Mouth! When I first spied this game on the interwebs, I thought, "Oh, what a fun game for the kids!" Little did I know how obsessed I, as a 43-year-old adult, would become over how to flick a tiny little paw containing a tiny little ball at just such a velocity and at just such an angle so as to knock OTHER tiny little balls into the field of play of my nemesis and crush his spirit, wipe the smirk off his face, and finally achieve world domination. All kidding aside, this game is super fun for adults and kids. It takes time to develop good flicking technique (unless you're my 8-year-old-son who is freakishly good at most tasks requiring deft hand-eye coordination and ruled us all from the word go), is fairly simple to learn and play, and rounds are pretty short, so you can rotate around the table or room, challenging friends and family members in rapid succession. There are balls in different positions so it takes a while not only to get the hang of knocking out the yellow balls, but to figure out how to knock out the black ball, so it holds interest for a good amount of time, and is easy to set up and break down, making it easily portable. We love other games by this same company (Exploding Kittens and all the expansion packs, Bears vs. Babies) and want to try others in their line up (Poetry for Neanderthals, Throw Throw Burrito, Tacocat, etc), and this one was a winner as well. Buy it and enjoy!

Fun for the kids
Our kids loved this game. They've been playing with it since it arrived a few days ago. It was easy for them to set up and play on their own (the oldest is 10). They have been laughing and having fun together, which has been nice to see.

Better than I expected
This is not a game I would normally purchase, however someone recommended it. So for my birthday I got a copy and we played it - adults and a teenager. It was fun! Especially because I won.The pros: the box IS the board. It is easy to assemble. The balls are nice and sturdy. The game provides a few spares but you're going to want to hunt them down if they end up on the floor. The magnetic cat paws are fun. I also enjoy magnets so that was nice. The cons: The cat paw only goes in one spot so you can't try out different angles. The goal for the game is the same each time. I found that if I just maintained the same angle and retraction of the paw, I could easily and quickly get the balls in the mouth faster than my opponents which means I have no reason to change my strategy.I wish there were challenges or scenarios. However, for kids and adults, it's a good way to pass the time for 5-10 minutes a few times. Maybe between kids the game can be played a few times a month and maybe what will limit the lifetime of the game is the loss of the balls.I think this would be great in a party setting (child or adult) for an activity or mini tournament.

Interesting
I was a little concerned on how this would work, but once I opened it and put it together I was surprisingly pleased.First off the colors in this are so beautiful.2ndly it's a very interesting idea for a game.3rdly it's really fun to play, it's a little tricky to catch on but once you do you won't want to stop playing it.The only things that are little flimsy are the side walls.I got this on sale so it was worth the money. But I would definitely recommend this game to anyone with kids it will keep you guys entertained & have some laughs for sure.

Perfect for the whole FAM
If you're looking for a silly, lighthearted game that will provide hours of entertainment, Cat & Mouth is a winner. Just be prepared to explain to your cat why you're suddenly obsessed with flicking plastic tongues at a giant plastic head. And maybe invest in a good vacuum cleaner for all those rogue tongues.

AMAZINGLY FUN!!!!
My Grandgirl and I are in love with this game. It is so much fun. typical kid, something is is flying through the air and that in its self is fun. But with this, there is a goal on mind. We just keep loading the balls up until one of us wins laughing the whole time. It packages right back up into its own box. As long as we can keep track of the balls, this will bring us years of joy.
