Since shopping for a step ladder is more difficult than I thought, I am providing some information and pics.I am 6' 1". 175 lb. Wear size 11 shoes, men's. Just a bit of overhang at the heels.My ceilings are 7'6" all-around.I figured if I measured the distance from the top of my head to the ceiling then I would get an idea about what height I wanted for the top step. My hair barely touches the ceiling. So, it is comfortable for me...some are too low and have to reach AND some are too HIGH where you are forced to crane your neck sideways. Or straddle steps. Especially when painting or hanging stuff on walls I want my dominant hand to be level or slightly down…for me, if I am leveling/marking something for pictures or shelving or crown molding I want to be comfortable and at eye-level or above. Just my personal comfort zone.Did not know that there would be virtual arguments about what height the top step was on a given ladder. Did not know that many companies do not include the height x dimensions of all steps. Also, did not know that 10 people can buy the same damn ladder and get 5 different heights. I can measure and it is a hair under 27". Not sure what is advertised but that is what I got. The steps have grooves that provide more lateral support. Meaning whatever shoes (or not) you are wearing will sink down into the recessions and keep your feet from twisting so much.It has a very slim profile. So slim that it is approximately 2" at its widest, folded.It is really light and it folds straight so there isn't any awkward handling, storing, clunking between dryer and wall, etc. No heavy all-steel legs and big rubber feet that are really more cumbersome than is necessary for a step ladder for me. If you are larger in size, say a man at 250 (I used to weigh 230 so I sort-of remember how things “give” differently) I would not go for this.The feet grip and are slanted downward at fronts and backs so no wobble. The spread is appropriate.It looks really fancy (for a ladder) and does not stick out like a sore thumb.I gave it 4 stars in sturdiness only because the handle when at top step is a little lower than I would expect ... .would have liked a couple more inches to hold onto. Well, who wouldn't!Anyhoo, hope this helps.

My TOOLF 3-step ladder is even better than I imagined it would be. I use it around the house, and the steps are wide and comfortable to use just wearing my socks, the top platform is even wider, a big, big plus. I’m 79 and the top handle makes all the difference in the world for balance. The aluminum construction is appreciated, I’ve seen some steel 3-step ladders in stores and they’re way too heavy for me. It’s absolutely perfect to use for cleaning windows and dusting up high, also for changing lightbulbs and organizing kitchen cabinets! It gets my highest rating!

I needed a ladder or step stool to reach the upper cabinets in our RV and it had to be narrow enough to fit behind the theatre seating when not in use. This one fits perfectly. It’s pretty lightweight and I love the third step!

I had a run of the mill 2 step stool which was too short. I ended up with this item and am very happy. It's lightweight, it folds really flat, it's easy to unfold, is sturdy, and has a grab handle. Of course, it has 3 steps so you can go higher. The light weight and fold flat features are the best.

This is lightweight yet feels substantial and well made. Nice aluminum with ridged steps for safety. The frame feels solid and because it's wide and flat, this puppy folds up to less than 2" to slide right in beside my fridge or washing machine. The frame also feels secure to hold onto for security. I love this product but have to return it because my ceilings are higher than I thought. I purchased it to change light bulbs but I have 10+ foot ceilings. I checked the TOOLF website and would have preferred to buy from them, but this is the max height they make. I envy you if this'll meet your needs. I hate to return it.

Might be one of my best Amazon purchases of late. It’s an actually nice looking ladder. I don’t try to hide it away. I keep in my kitchen next to stainless steel fridge to use for easy access to upper cabinets. Nice height and super stable.

I've owned a dozen of these stepladders and this is the best design ever. Very thin for storage. Opens easily and won't pinch when you close it. Very sturdy and safe on the top step.

Of the many available, I chose this one because it closes to a narrow size & I liked the color. I’ve used it since it arrived & it’s been fine, top step feels steady when standing on it…I place my knee on the top bar when I feel like I need to be steadied…. Highly recommended!

Bought it in the beginning of the year. My best purchase of the year until now.I am small so I always need to use it. What I like about it is that it can fit so well between my fridge and wall ! Also, it is really light. This changes a lot because I always need to move it. If I need to give a negative point is the hanger to secure the ladder whenever I need to close it. But then it is there so that you do not fall and it assures you that is it to climb.

Very sturdy and light weight. Easy to fold and slim enough to put it anywhere when not in use.

I love that it’s so compact! I was worried that it only held up to 200 lbs but I actually can support up to 150 kg as per the label on the ladder. I wanted something that was sturdy. Perfect because I need it around the house as my 2 step ladder was not high enough. Great buy!
