ridiculously dim
this is a toy light bulb, not a real one. One cannot read by this light.

8 months later ...
Having received two bulbs in early February, I installed them and used them normally in simple on/off switches (no dimmer). 8 months later, one is still shining brightly when I turn on the light, and the other one is barely shining any light. There are no obvious issues (cracks, burns, or other indications of malfunction). I assume it's a manufacturing defect, but there is no way to get it serviced/addressed.Purchase with caution.

not enough light
got these to replace halogen bulbs. They were useless looked more like a dim spotlight. as to longevity I didn't use them so don't know.

Make sure you know "daylight white" or "warm white" prior to purchasing
I originally ordered "daylight white" and once installed it did not match the color of the other bulbs in the bedroom ceiling fan. So I just ordered the "warm white" in hopes that it will be a better match.

Not for use with dimmable fixture.
Not bright at all. Doesn't work well on a dimming fixture. Will not turn all the way off-just gets very dim instead. I wanted so bad for this to be great. But it just wasn't.

Too dim for what I needed.
I wanted the brightness of the halogen bulb without the heat, but this led bulb is too dim. I purchased the daylight bulb which is supposed to be 6000K, but compared to the halogen it's very dim. I'm unable to work in the room with overhead light so dim. I have led daylight bulbs in another room/ceiling fixture which are too bright for entertaining, but great for working on projects/crafts.

Is it on?
Very dim. Measured it as 2 Lux - half as bright as a 100w halogen. About the only use for this would be as a hallway night light …
