This expansion to Lifeboat the cult favorite card game of survival and revenge adds 10 new cards including a seventh character -- Dr. Harter -- complete with a few extra First Aid Kits Love and Hate cards and the infamous Cannibalism card.

Eat the long pork!
I would be lying if I said that I bought this expansion for the extra character. The best part of this expansion is the cannibalism card. Nothing ads more joking and laughing as the uncomfortable discussion of the cannibalism scenario. Do you partake or do you vote against it? Dr. Harter ads a nice way to add an additional player to the game making this a worthwhile expansion even if you don't want to add the cannibalism card.

Cards aren't great quality
The cards feel different from the main deck and are even slightly larger than the rest. Not a huge deal, but definitely annoying considering it's 5 bucks for like 5 cards.

Lifeboat is an amazing game for any time.Quick to learn.Great opener or focus.Perfect social game.Less about the game itself, and more about who you are playing with.Expansion adds another character and mechanic/item - cannibalism.

Meat Eaters Unite!
Dr. Harding and his medical bag are a much needed addition to this game but watch out, there is now cannibalism in the game. Mmmmmm......juicy left leg.........yummy!

What, with a gamey leg?
Dr. Harter increases the utility of the medical kit and cannibalism, changing the dynamic of the game. As for cannibalism, well, people are the other other other white meat.

Not a huge addition to the game
Not a huge addition, and the cannibalism doesn't come up much. The Liquid Courage Expansion has much more impact to the game. As for the basic game: Lifeboat is a fairly entertaining game of survival through alliances and betrayal, but it can drag on...and on. It's also somewhat biased to the stronger characters. If you're strong enough, just take whatever you want from someone else - like the best weapons to become nearly unstoppable...even if every other person teams against you. So the game can become turn after turn of getting bullied for most players.

Worth it if all you want is an extra player
I really enjoy this game but I don't feel that this expansion really adds that much other than an extra player. I had to go to Boardgame Geek to figure out how the expansion card actually affects the game as it's not too clear.
