Cedarlooks 050506C Camel Back Bench

First off, I would like to say that the bench looks nice and is made out of good material. However, there was a quality control issue that kept the bench from being assembled. The last notch in the back piece did not fit into the last side section. No amount hammering on it (with the provided piece of wood so the bench didn't get damaged) brought the notch closer to the slot. Ultimately, I had to take a wood chisel and remove about 1/4" of the notch that didn't fit. That worked and the rest of the bench came together without any issues.Unfortunately, the biggest complaint I have is the camel back bench digs into the top half of my back and is not comfortable at all. I will have to get a cushion for it. Perhaps this is where "try before you buy" comes into play. Overall the bench is well made though, so if you've had this type of bench before and know that you will need a cushion for the back, you could do worse.
