Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used this foam for a large, long body pillow - which is not really a body pillow, but a long decorative pillow. I wanted a stuffing that wouldn't compact, that would be comfy enough to sit against, and would not 'run' from corners - this fits all those perimeters! Goodbye feathers, goodbye polyfil! I just bought more for another large pillow.

This is perfect for the dog bed, took a few days for it to puff out but filled the bed completely (bed for 40 lb dog) slightly smell but was fine in 24 hours. Dog is very happy.

Bags like this are good to "top off" existing beanbags and cushions, not for filling an empty sack. I'd say 10lbs of foam would add fluff back to an adult-size (5'x5'x2.5') beanbag that is starting to go flat, while 5lbs should do for a kid's beanbag. As one commenter already mentioned: if you let your 'bags get too flat you may want to double your order size. If you're starting from scratch don't buy this foam and try to fill an empty sack--you'll end up spending way more than if you just bought one pre-filled.I've included a photo of a 5lb bag of this foam next to a men's size 11 shoe so you can see what size it is when shipped, and then after it expands. You can see that it is of decent quality with a small, fairly even cut. You can also see that $25 doesn't get you a lot of foam.To reduce the mess of installation I followed this process:- remove the binding from the foam's packaging so it can expand for a few hours- place foam into the beanbag while still in the plastic bag- tear open the plastic bag by hand and slowly remove just the bag, leaving the foam in the beanbag

Inconsistency in the cut sizes makes this material lumpy so if it's used to fill something with a thick fabric it should be okay but for pillows it's not that great. Material is very rubberized takes a long time to expand.

I agonised over which was the right filling to fix a very floppy bean bag and if it would even work along with how much filling I needed. The bag is filled with the traditional beans.I purchased this 5lb bag and it was the perfect amount. I added the whole bag of it to the beans and shook it up. End result is a bean bag just like new.The filling does not smell. Make sure you open it into a large box and wait for it to poof up before putting it in.Perfect solution!

Great product ,i used on the couch cushion ,and it worked perfectly. I will recommend it.
