Borosilicate Glass Storage Jars with Airtight Locking Clamp Lids (2 Sets 18oz, 2 Sets 30oz), Airtight Glass Canisters with Locking Lids, Glass Storage Containers Bamboo Lid, Food Storage Container

These jars are quite nice, definitely airtight, and clearly functional. However, the description of them on Amazon is misleading. The "About this Item" section says explicitly that the lids are polished, water-resistant acacia wood, which was what appealed to me about them. The wood was a pretty, rich color, and had a nice finish.However, the item "Description," which is near the bottom of the page, gives very different images and says that the lids are bamboo. I did not look for this section because I thought I had all the information I needed from the "About" section. Nope. They're bamboo. The box also clearly says they're bamboo. They're not very smooth, not polished, and DEFINITELY not acacia. I'm disappointed because the bamboo looks grey, drab, and cheap compared to what I was looking for, and I know it is not nearly as durable. I may keep them, because I need canisters, but I'm very unhappy that I did not receive what I thought I had ordered. The description needs to be corrected.

I have literally just taken these out of the box so I'm giving my initial review- I have not used them yet so have nothing to say about that.BUT, I will say there is a lack of consistency with the product.I will start by saying there was some human error on my end. I did not realize when I ordered- what I thought- was the same product in different set sizes, it's actually just slightly different in that one lid set has bamboo lids and one set has wood. I actually was wanting all wood so it's a bit of a bummer but not a big deal. I do wish the company had all set options available in both styles of lids so that I wouldn't have made this mistake. I wanted a variety of sizes, I shouldn't have to forego style just so I can have variety- especially if the product is clearly available, they just don't sell it together the same way.With that said, the different lids are actually advertised as having the same sized jars, but in reality, the jars with bamboo lids have a larger circumference. So even if I somehow just ordered more wood lids, they would be too small. I'll also add that one of the jars with a wood lid was a little taller than the others with wood lids, but still smaller circumference than bamboo lidded jars.I did receive one jar with a warped bottom, that I plan on reporting to the seller. It doesn't sit flat, it wobbles.Overall, not a huge deal, I'm being nitpicky, which is why it's still 4-stars. The product still looks nice, I'm just not a bamboo kinda gal so I'm a little sad about that.*Editing to add, they very promptly replaced my extra wobbly jar- thank you! Keeping at 4 stars still because of the inconstancy overall.*

Same brand of jars, but i have bought 8 of these in the past for the listed price and they were 33 oz(each) and about 9inches tall. I went back and reordered from my previous purchases screen and was sent much shorter jars with a TOTAL of 30oz between the 2, for the same price i purchased the 33oz(each was 33oz). Not a great bait and switch. Waiting for the option to return as I've just picked them up from an amazon locker. Overall, the jars are amazing, but i need the taller jars as they are for my store and must be consistent. If the store actually has the 33oz jars I'd love to get those instead.

I’m bummed I didn’t notice this in one of the photos, but the lid is engraved with URBAN GREEN. Yuck. Not cute. If you’re buying these to expand your existing collection of jars, as I was, then these won’t match. Even if I weren’t trying to get them all looking the same, I’d never want some random brand stamped in all caps on every dang lid. It’s not cute and not necessary. They’re a good price, just wish they’d left the lids alone.

I am trying to rid our household and our habits of plastic. It is almost impossible and a hefty lifestyle change. One step at a time is the best way. These containers are not as sturdy as older Ball style containers- the glass is not as thick. But they work great for us, as we are not throwing stuff around our kitchen. It is only the two of us, my spouse and me, so these work great for coffee and coffee beans, pasta, dry beans, etc. I am still using sturdier glass containers for flours and sugars, as those products will get washed and abused a bit more.

Sorry but these are not worth the cost. They are ultra thin. I ordered a few sets of different products and one jar came broken although the packaging seems adequate. Given that these are do thin, I figured that they would all break from every day use so I returned most, sadly. These are for display use not everyday use. I kept the two sets for food prep/leftovers as the glass was much thinner. The bamboo was nice looking though.

These make pantry and kitchen organizing so easy!! While they are not for people who store a lot of groceries, they are super effective for single or married people with no kids. It’s perfect proportions for one or two people’s worth of groceries.We use them to keep our coffee grounds fresh and near our coffee maker without having an ugly bag out. We also use them for rice, flour, sugar, and noodles (one container can typically fit a box of noodles). It saves us so much space in our pantry and it looks so organized.

It’s a nice set of canisters. Very neutral, clean look. I like that the tops just pull off instead of latching as it makes it easier to get to what you need more readily. They aren’t too small of a set, but they may not hold quite as much as you would imagine so be sure and check the measurements. The only con I can think of is that the largest canister in the set is tall and slender instead of wider which may make reaching the contents at the bottom a little difficult, especially if you have bigger arms. Otherwise it’s a great set of canisters

Works perfectly. Lids close shut. They came neatly packed in individual boxes. Fits my pasta which is important if you’re getting a set. No defects in my set
