Update: It takes two to get my wood stove going along with the entire Sunday NY Times. The homemade ones cost me .25 each and only take one. So at .64 for two these are horribly expensive and not very good. Looking at the one star reviews it seems that the price doubled from 2018 and the quality went down. I cannot recommend these at all.Up until this year I made my own. You can make your own with paraffin, sawdust, and cupcake wrapper. Homemade may have cost a little more but they will be easier to light and burn longer. These things seemed to dry out once the carton was open. Hard to light. To be fair I have purchased and tried a couple of commercial fire starters and none work as well as the homemade ones.

These work great, i always use 2 with a little paper under them to get a good fire going.

We been using these for the last 3 years. We have a wood stove and they work great. Way better than anything prior!!!!

Super great! I use two nuggets when I have to start my fire for harder wood. I always use kindling in addition to the Nuggets to ensure a perfect fire every time!
