Highly recommended by this special education teacher
I put a tip on a short, cheap stylus and presented it to one of my students. Great success.I teach students with multiple significant disabilities who need the accuracy and pencil hold practice of a stylus but are not able to keep from pressing hard on the iPad screen. This combination was perfect. (It will work on any kind of pencil or pen, but you have to be sure that you are firmly touching the conductive rubber. My students found this a little difficult and had more success with using this tip combined with a metal stylus.)The metal ring on a regular cheap stylus would scratch the screen in seconds, and other stylus brands cost more than $20. Others have reviews saying that they broke after a few uses. This stylus combination is cheap, easy to use, nearly indestructible, and the kids love them. They have a big thumbs up from our OT, too. I bought enough for every student in my class to have their own, individually labeled stylus (to cut down on germ sharing.)I will be checking the rubber regularly because I'm sure the pressure of the metal ring on the inside may cut the rubber (even though I wrapped the ring with a little duct tape before I put the tip on.) even after occasionally replacing a worn tip, it's still a LOT cheaper than any other stylus solution I found. My only regret is that Amazon didn't show me the cheaper multi pack and I purchased five individual tips at the higher price. I found the multi-pack the day after the five individually packaged tips arrived. Oh well. Next time I'll buy the multi-pack.

Ok, not perfect
I used this stylus to make my own telescoping stylus for semi-remote access to a laptop. It works well and fits on the telescoping pointer I purchased, just fine. The only issue is that it is not quite sensitive enough. Probably because it is a thicker rubber than a good working stylus and it's just a bit harder and stiffer. I have some good styli that work well... they are much softer and compress much easier - just not able to attach them to the end of a pointer.

Kinda works.
Kinda works. I like Boxwave fabric tips better.

Great idea for a touch screen stylus.
Works Great! I took the blade out of a old aluminum X-acto knife and put a pocket clip from an old mechanical pencil on it. After seeing styli with small tips and reading reviews of how they wear out quickly, I went for this thing. Seeing 10 packs of standard styli sort of confirmed the short life expectancy of them for me. It seems sturdy enough that it won't wear out any time soon. It doesn't need to be on a metal shaft since it is long enough to grasp for normal use but it kind of works like a pointer paired with metal. It may not be as precise as other styli, taking into account that different tablets have different touch resolutions, but it works fine on my 8 inch Dragon Touch tablet. It's a great inovation and if it lasts a long time the resonable price will be well worth it. It could probably revive a (or a 10 pack of) worn out cheapo styli that would normally be thrown away.

Didn't work with iPhone 6s Plus
I wanted to like this and use it, but it didn't work with my iPhone 6s Plus and so I returned it.

Could be better.
Not as good as the give away pens w/ touchscreen accessory. Very large once seeing it on the screen. Also didn't slide as well as I would have liked

It’s ok stylish
This product was OK but I’ve used better stylists 60% of the time it worked good if you’re on the budget I recommend this item it’s OK

Cool idea. Touch input works well, but fundametally harder to use than any "smart" stylus
Cool idea and works well for a "dumb stylus". But writing/drawing with a big tip can be cumbersome especially on my phone screen or Macbook track pad. That said you can use it like a digital pencil on a mac track pad w or w/o an app like inklet 2 which is cool. It sometimes drags behind where you want to write by a bit. I found putting it over the used eraser end of a pencil helps. Also get used to zooming in when you need to draw smaller details.
