Ok product. Does as it says

I wasn’t sure what this would be like as some reviews say they are a faff to put together and sink, but it was easy to put together and transport into the pond and floats great.I have a large pond so used 40, all connected in 2 rows around the pond (middle of pond is left open). Had them about 3 months and worked well so far, fish are protected.

Really like the idea of this product as it doesn't distract from the pond and not sure why some people are having issues getting it to float as I didn't have this issue at all but sadly yesterday morning my pond suffered a heron attack and I lost 3 fish out of 7 so it doesn't seem to offer enough protection which is a shame as I do like the product as it distracts so much less than a net covering the pond and still allows for frogs etc to get in and out, I really wanted this product to work so disappointed it didn't totally protect my fish.

Purchased two packs of this product as we lost one of our fish to a heron and was concerned that it would return for more.The pond was covered with a net but this product looked to be a good idea as you could join many of the panels as necessary with the clips supplied.Assembled a few and lowered onto the surface.It sunk trapping the fish underneath!Reduced the number of panels and it slowly surfaced but it was necessary to fish the fish around the side of the panelsTo summarise, this product does not work.I will probably build a frame,and glue the panels together.

Good idea/product. Forms a floating "web" of hexagons over the pond and seems to have worked for us. A heron visited us and it took two fish. We had to chase it several times while ordering this product, but afterwards the heron was stumped! It came back a couple of times, but as it couldn't get any more fish, it has given up, and not returned for a week or so now. Great job!Only reason I didn't go FIVE STARS is that there were not quite enough plastic connectors to securely fix all the hexagons together (you really need TWO at every junction.
