Works great!
These clamps work great. I got them as backups for my expand-it tools.... But I'm about to blow your mind!! Though these work great, as they're manufacured for the job they were made for, there is a better option for your expand-it tool arsenal. Try a trolling motor, quick connect clamp! BOOM! MIND BLOWN! It does the same job in a fraction of time, without the winding hand fatigue that comes with these wing nut clamps. You'll only need to add a cm thick sleeve to the post for best fit. Drill a hole for the attachment pin and you're off. Switch those expand -it tools out in seconds!

Difficult install
Very difficult to get the old one off and the new one is a snug fit. I had to spread it a bit with snap ring pliers to get it over the tube.

Exactly what I needed for my Ryobi RY40002
It was easy to put on but then my attachments wouldn't fit. I took it off, pried it open a just a tad, put it back on and it works great. It's nice to have a tight grip again. I'm buying another set as this is a cheap fix and depending upon how often you change attachments, probably a necessary maintenance item.

Fits Toro trimmer
This was a easy replacement for a Toro trimmer. The only down side is the new part is a little tighter than the OEM. The original would strip the screw out after a few uses, so far this one has held up.

Very close factory reproduction item
These are great replacement clamps since you can't buy them at home improvement stores. The set I received look excellent, but the fitment was very tight. I had to remove the bolt from the clamp, then spread the clamp open to get it over the main boom of the weed eater (Ryobi). Then put an attachment in and use channel locks to slowly squeeze the clamp back being careful not to deform it. Once I put the turn bolt back in it was very tight inserting and removing attachments, but may be a good thing overall to hold them securely. The bolt itself is not as thick as factory. The holes lign up perfectly to fit the push pin of the attachments. Excellent for the price.
