A decent quality budget pillow - not too hard or too flat
We replaced all of our pillows after a move, and I bought several varieties. My spouse has allergies so we usually buy down alternative or cotton pillows. These are good middle-of-the-road pillows. I'm a side sleeper and these work fine for me. It's good sanitation practice to replace pillows annually, and these are cheap enough to do that.

Soft vs Medium
TL;DR, these are great pillows for the price and there is little difference between the soft and medium (but enough to notice if you have a preference). Unless you have a more extreme preference (super soft or super firm) one of these will likely work for you. Hopefully the detailed review below is helpful for someone!I had been looking for a new pillow for a while, and had ordered several that didnt work out. Too soft, too firm, too thick, too thin. I was starting to assume it was going to be a no-win situation for me, and I'd eventually have to settle on something that didn't meet my needs. I decided to take a final chance on these pillows, and I'm glad I did as they ended up working out well for me. Initially I struggled in choosing between the soft and medium options. In the end, I ordered both and found they were quite similar when inspecting the thickness/firmness with my hands. I decided to start with the medium thinking it was closest to what I was looking for, but I found my neck was a bit stiff upon first use, and didn't improve after trying another night. I then decided to try the soft, which for me was just right.I gave the pillows 5 stars because I've now used the soft pillow for several months with no issue, and I continue to sleep well. I've also found the medium pillow works well when I visit my mom, as her memory foam guest bed requires a thicker pillow for me to sleep well.Lastly, my one bit of advice would be to make sure you refluff and turn your pillow every so often. Because it's poly filled, the filling will have a tendency to begin to mush down a bit where your head lays if you don't. I noticed this after about a month of use, but was able to fix it once I made an effort to refluff on a regular basis.

Softer Than Expected
The pillows are much softer than expected, having ordered a medium density pair. Still, I slept on it last night and I think it will do. The pillows completely fill the cases, just in case you've read that issue in other reviews. They seem well-made. I just wish they were a little more dense

Excellent quality pillow
These are the BEST pillows, especially for the price. Perfect for Medium firm side sleepers like myself. My husband also loves it. It's got the perfect mix of "squishy" and firm. I slept so well and I struggle to get decent sleep. Totally recommend

Meh…
The pillow was ok at first, but I did develop some neck pain after sleeping on it for a week. They are not as comfortable in the long run as I had hoped.

Good buy
Very soft pillows, not very good for stomach sleepers. They still have the shape even after a year. Smell is on you, but they come smelling like a fresh new pillow. They are big as well. I’ll buy again.

Great, soft, high-quality pillows, but too thick for me
This will be a brief review of my pillow journey. I tried a few of the most popular pillows, like MyPillow, Amazon Basics, bamboo/shredded foam, memory pillows, but my most common complaint about them were that they were all just too high and firm for me. I am a restless sleeper and alternate between back, side, and stomach sleeping, and I strongly preferred the stomach sleeper/flat pillows with a polyester fiber/down alternative filling. Here's a ranking of my 4 top pillows:Eversnug Adjustable Layer Pillows - (#1)These were THE pillow for me. I had never heard of these pillows or the company, but I really like being able to adjust my pillow. These pillows came with 2 small, 2 medium, and 2 large pillows and 2 twin zippable pillow pouches. All of them were polyester fiber filled and somewhat flat and soft, but not lumpy. The pillows may not come the exact same sizes, but they are close enough for me. These are the pillows I ultimately decided to stick with, despite being slightly more expensive than the others at $50 for a set of 2 pillows.Nappler Bamboo Shredded Memory Foam Pillow - (#2)Before I found the Eversnug pillows, I was trying the adjustable bamboo shredded memory foam ones. These were my go-to whenever I was testing pillows I didn't like very much. The only downside to these pillows is that if you don't add enough filling, you could feel the edges of the shredded foam. Also, the "bamboo" cover was way too warm and the inner zipper would get too easily caught.Amazon Basics Down Alternative Pillow - (#3)I don't think I've ever been disappointed by an Amazon Basics product yet. These pillows were soft, amazing pillows, but they were 1-2 inches too thick/firm for me.MyPillow - (#4)Despite all the hype around these, they were too lumpy and 1 inch too thick for me.Like I said previously, I ended up going with the Eversnug Adjustable pillows, which I absolutely adore. A tiny bonus is that you can take the pillows you don't use and rest them on your sides or between your knees for some extra cushioning.
