everything was good except sparkplug wire.

Nicely made and easy installation. Engine started on firstctry and runs perfectly now. Two spark olugs included are a bonus.

Bought this to replace the armature on a 19.5 HP Turbo Cool Briggs & Stratton. It arrived quickly and in was properly packaged, but let me get this out of the way upfront: the plugs included are garbage. I had already purchased a set prior to ordering this armature, so not really a big deal, but I've also noticed other reviews stating the same.Installed the armature and the mower started up dueing a test start. I let it run for a few minutes, then put everything back together to do some mowing. Got about 20 minutes in and the mower died. Fuel level was good, so checked for spark...no spark. Threw a tester on the wires and got no spark. Waited until the next day to continue troubleshooting and of course I had spark again. Ran again for about 20 minutes, then same results. The armature fails once the engine gets warms up and the armature becomes heatsoaked. Has occurred everytime so far.Maybe it's just a fluke, but I've seen several updated reviews where the armature had died after a seemly short amount of time, so I don't know. Haven't decided yet if it's worth submitting a warranty claim just to (most likely) end up with another one that will do the same. If you need a replacement armature and don't want to pay OEM prices, it may be beneficial in the long run to find a better aftermarket one than this.

Magneto kits included spark lugs. perfect fit. as easy to install.

Works great when installed right. The marking for "this side out" and "this side toward the cylinder" is hard to see in dim light with old eyes. It's a newer design than my 17 year old mower came with. The ground tab is on the opposite side and I put it on upside down. It wouldn't run. I already had a return authorization by the time I figured out it was upside down. As usual Amazon stands behind their sales without fail. I turned the coil over. The mower started and ran like new and I cancelled the return. Good product, great price, unbeatable service. The missing star is for the hard to read marking and total lack of included installation instructions: I found that a 7-10 mil clearance on the flywheel works well.

Put this unit in - tractor started up right away. Note - the leads do NOT come out the same side as the original--- just put the long lead on the far cylinder and it will be fine. Product does NOT come with plug boot - you must use the old ones. They are a little hard to put on. Use a wire or string to "pull" the coil wire thru the boot. Add dielectric grease if you want. Remember - space the coil away from the magnet (use a business card if you like)

After asking to return the coil I read a review that indicated the coil would work if flipped. I did and it worked. No instructions were included and the writing on the part was next to impossible to read. The price was reasonable and I decided to keep the part. I would recommend buying this product.

Bought this same one at a small engine shop and it cost 5 times what I paid for this one and was none returnable this was a great buy.
