Ordered this one hoping it would fit in the backseat of my truck easily. It does for the most part. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re over 5’8” though because the driver seat will bump into it in a mid sized truck.Easy to install. If you pull the seat cover back on the side the seat anchor is on you can pull the tail of the strap through it and tighten really snug so it doesn’t rock side to side.Absolute nightmare to adjust the crotch buckle. You have to disassemble the car seat to adjust it and it took two of us to get it put back together without any of the straps getting in the way or twisted. It also doesn’t adjust much at all. Not sure HOW it’ll fit a larger toddler when it comes to forward facing.Kid does seem comfortable, she’s 14 months, and it lasts 10 years which is nice.

Our original infant car seat was removable with stationary bases in each car (Evenflo Nurture), which we loved, but around 12 months our son was close to maxing out the weight limit at 22 lbs. I believe this carseat (Evenflo EveryFit 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, Olympus) could be the only car seat you need as it will accommodate a newborn, but we liked being able to buckle the baby into the seat in the house and carry them out, so I cannot review the newborn stage of this carseat; I can, however, tell you that my toddler loves it. I love how easy it is to buckle him in. We loosen the straps every time we unbuckle and tighten the straps each time we get back in the van (Dodge Grand Caravan-middle row captain chair-latch system) because it's so simple with the easy release.We bought this car seat at $189.99 up front and because it adapts to the different stages of safety we need as our kids grow over ten years this carseat will cost breakdown to $19 a year. That seems like a deal to me. For reference we still have our oldest daughter rear-facing at 38 lbs and she'll be four in 5 months (Evenflo SafeMax Platinum All-in-One Convertible Car Seat, Madalynn). We've loved our Evenflo products.Update: Two and a half years in and I just had to order a replacement chest clip (his cracked) and when I went to throw the liner in the wash I notice the foam head piece was broken into three pieces (it says do not remove) so now I have to figure out how to fix that part.

As a new mom of a 5 month old, I was so happy to see I could get a car seat from infant to toddler for a good price. First off, this car seat looks even better in person.. It’s seriously so sleek and comfy looking. When I took the car seat out of the box, it had the instruction manual, snack tray, cups and plastic pieces for the anchors. The padding is already placed on the seat, and can be removed for easy cleaning, which is great for messy babes. Also the cup holders have liners that can be easily removed and washed of juice or snacks. LOVE the double cup holders.For the installation- I usually have the fiancé install the car seats since I get overwhelmed with installing things, but I took a stab at it myself. It wasn’t the easiest for me, and took me a bit of time, but with help from him I was able to install tight, and correct. This will be timely but he said the installation wasn’t too bad and that the manual was definitely needed. After feeling confident that the car seat was nice and secure, we put babe in and he was nice and cozy, took a great nap in it. The straps were so easy to adjust to tighten on him, but the bottom buckles were a bit harder to clasp.This car seat is used in our second vehicle for now, since our son is still a baby, and easier to use bucket car seat in and out of the house for traveling. We are excited to get all the use out of this 4 in 1 car seat, watching him grow for many many years. Also glad to know my son will be safe in this car seat Incase of accident with side impact protection. I trust Evenflo with my child’s car seat safety.A downside to this car seat would be not having the sensor safe clip like we have in our infant car seat. I’ll be sad to not have that feature for upcoming years. That would have been a great addition to this car seat. But overall this is a great price for a car seat you will use for years and I recommend!!
