YoYo Moon 28-Inch Portable Pet Playpen Kennel

I was looking for a playpen to "isolate" my kitten after her spay surgery in a few days and thought this would be a good option. It would allow her to interact with her surroundings without jumping onto things she shouldn't or moving too excessively, preventing pulled stitches and other complications.When this arrived the carrying case was thin but the straps looked like they would hold and the zipper was big. The pen itself felt sturdy with heavy duty mesh panels and strong looking canvas that would hold up to a 5 month old kitten. Though I didn't see instructions it seemed simple to put together. The only issue is that it looks like the bottom panel was sewn in upside down with the more waterproof looking lining on the outside. This may make sense if it was for outdoor use, but considering the material of the surrounding fabric that was probably not the case. Additionally, the bottom zipper was smashed making it impossible to zip. While I could probably pry it open and maybe make it work, it didn't seem work the effort for the price I paid and with another pen on the way, I'll take my chances on the other one not needing fixing out of the box instead of getting a replacement.The pen is small and probably not an option for long term holding. I could maybe fit a food and water bowl and a shoebox sized litter box with little room left for a bed or towel to keep a 5 pound, 5 month old kitten in it.Overall, while I wouldn't keep it, the pen looks like it would be a great addition to a household with small animals as it looks like a very high quality pen for a small price tag. My only caution would be to make sure it can zip together and that your ok with the fabric maybe being wrong side out.

This is the perfect size for my small dog that had surgery. I can move it easily to different rooms in the house or outside and then put her in it. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the bottom zip on piece. It seems like the zipper was sewed on backwards. When you attach it to the bottom of the pen, it zips on upside down; the canvas side is on the inside and the vinyl side is on the outside. I really believe it is meant to be the opposite. I can't send it back for exchange because I needed it immediately since my dog had surgery and I have to keep her contained.

What a God send this has been. Anyone who has ever tried to potty train a puppy knows it takes a lot of patients and hard work. I have a 3 month old Rat-Cha named Molly that I have been working with diligently for about six weeks. Being winter and her size being a factor I needed to do indoor training with pee pads. I purchased pads and holder but weeks proved no positive results. I was brain storming one night and decided maybe I needed what I now call a Poop Palace. I also chose this size because it was a perfect fit for my pad holder. I made one more change. I switched brands of pads to Gardner's Training Pads. Size 24 by 24 in. I'll always believe this brand of pads attached her more than three other brand. Sooooo with all my new items in place we started over and to my amazement within a few days the results have been unbelievable. I leave the door open and she goes in at will. The top unzips and makes removing the pad holder a breeze for changing. I'm adding a picture to give you an idea of my setup. The purpose of this review is to give other per owners hope that there is help out there. Just so you'll know, I paid full price for these items and this review is my true opinion.Update 5 months later. Still very happy with The Poop/Pee Palace. I have found the California Per Supply pee pads meet my needs better than others. For the money they can't be beat. I also like that you can order 50 instead of 100 if your money is short the week you need them. Molly is 9 months old now and has been 100% potty trained your months. One more thing. For a dog her size (12lbs) the Palace is the perfect size and I need to change her pad twice daily. Removing any poops immediately of course. Hope this helps.

I have this playpen in my kitchen and use it to stash our 4-mo-old, 2 lb Maltese while I am preparing meals, cleaning, etc. Since she can see me, she does not feel abandoned, and I know exactly where she is and what she is doing. I also feed her in the playpen to keep my other two Maltese girls from mooching the baby's meal. The playpen is well made and is plenty roomy for my little one, a small crate pad, a pee pad folded in half, a couple of toys, small water bowl and small food bowl. It is also lightweight enough to where it can easily be moved from room to room. Our baby does not sleep in it, but I can see where it would be perfect for a little one, or even a larger adult dog, to use for night time rather than a typical crate. The canvas material that goes part way up the wall (except for the door) would prevent a draft from chilling a puppy, and the door could be covered with a towel, if that were an issue.If this review has been helpful, please check the box below.

its a good looking pen but the quality of the assembly is not that great. I bought 2 of these pens so I could have 1 at home and 1 at the office. I was hoping to like these but I just can't get past the poor quality stitching. I stopped using these because my puppy keeps biting at the loose thread and the edges, the pen does fold and is compact, the bag that it comes in wasn't any better than the pen, it's zipper broke the 2nd time I tried to store it so what else can I say. I would not recommend this for a puppy or a dog that chews a lot.

I purchased this for our 12 pound toy poodle and it works great. Plenty of space to stretch out. I like that I can see him through the top - added air flow too. Well made, albeit on odd smell kind of like tire rubber (windows are a rubbery material) that I hope to air out as it sits by my bed - 3 weeks not too bad anymore. I had no problem putting it together and I think the bottom is on the right way, not sure what others are talking about. Poodles are smart, and my dog has learned how to tip it on it's side and roll it, like a hamster in a wheel, but I wanted him to have more room than the traditional kennel. Teddy the poodle gives it 5 stars!
