These boots are the real deal. They are hand made in Mexico the traditional way boots used to be made. Soles nailed on, hand stiched and dyed leather. Hard arch for saddle or motorcycle riding. very good quality. Shafts are more narrow than on other boots so they fit more snug to the calf. thats why 4 stars instead of five. I would give it 4.5 if i could. I love these boots.

My current pair of these are some of the best boots I’ve ever had and still going strong. A few re-resoles over many years, with long hours on them. Still kicking. Get them. Like any good boot, you’ll need a little break in, but they’re comfortable right out of the box. Sizes are true. Built extremely well.They won’t let you down. If you use them for work, you can rely on them. I’m not disappointed in any way. These folks know what they’re doing. Never mind the price. These are the real deal.

The boots feel great, quality of materials are great, the downside of the boots is the rear heel of the boot shaft where the upper connects to the lower is weak and malleable which makes the boot feel less secure than other boots that have a stiffer heel. If you like that, then these are great boots to have, and they are, but I find I want to wear them less often than my other harder stiffer rear heel boots. They are comfortable and easy to wear and they do not make you feel like you’ve been walking the state of Texas in them. If you want a stiffer rear heel then find another boot. I’ve also noticed that my other Soto boots that the weak soft rear heel is not across all their boot lines, it’s on some of them.

I would advise to get a half size larger than your actual size. I wear 9.5 but I should have gotten a 10 but it is manageable.

So far loving it. I give it 4 stars instead of 5,because it's a tad smaller than it should be. Not enough to discard it, but not perfect either. It's a little tight on the ankle when you put them on, but once they are on, ankle feels OK. Also, they feel just a bit narrow, but I suspect with use, they will losen up. I've only wear them for a few hours so far. I'll update after a few months of hard use on the farm, and on the road (I ride often my motorcycle).Update (24th September/2021): They stay true to my first impressions on them. Will I buy them again? Yes.

I have a autistic adult son is rough on boots they are made ok just don't get them wet !

Unfortunately these boots fell apart already. The heel came apart . Trying to salvage at shoe repair place. Not an everyday boot

Boots fit as expected. If you have a high arch like me it’s a little thought to slide them on out of the box. I’m sure they’ll be fine once broken in though.
