I received this product quickly from Amazon. The entire stand and the reflector was houses in a cylindrical bag similar to a duffel bag. The stand seems slightly better built than the Amazon basics light stands.There are two long curved rodsTwo short rodsOne standReflector base with VelcroMultiple reflectorsThe curved rods need to be sleeved into the reflector first on the long sides of the reflector base material. You can then place the curved rods into the slotted holes of the stand. Then you'd need to insert the short rods within the sleeves of the reflector base at it's shorter sides. This is where things get a little tricky. The reflector base needs to be stretched hard to ensure the ends of the short rods are properly slotted inside the long curved rods. I felt I may end up tearing it, each time I did this exercise. But, looks like the material is sturdy (up to this point). Also, if you don't stretch it enough the short rods won't sit properly onto the long curved rods.For the price point is recommend it. If you do not disassemble after every shoot, it's super easy to maintain this.

As stated by so many others the first-time assembly is challenging. However, after the first time, I found the tricks to get it together in about 5-10 min. Even though it comes with a nice case I wouldn't want to do the setup often.The results you get are excellent. Nice even light. I have only used the white material but gives a nice even soft light.As someone that very seldom has an assistant to hold a reflector, it has made a difference in the quality of my portrait shoots. There are workarounds for the limited angle it will go. Most photographers can see how to mount with additional ball heads, arm, etc to get it to rotate 180°.

It works great. But if you take on jobs, assembly is sort of a pain but it works well.

While I was able to get it together, I completely see what other reviewers mean when they talk about it not fitting. I had to really wrestle it to make it work correctly. Once it is together, it does what it should, but it's pretty rickety. If you're in a hurry, you'll want to have this preassembled. If you need something that is going to be around for a while, eh, maybe this isn't it. It's easy enough to figure out, but it came with no instructions. I did have to take a hammer to it to straighten out a bolt that came crooked. If you need support, this is not the item for you. Just try to get someone from Neewer on the phone or to call you back. I am convinced the customer service line is just some kind of comedic performance art project sponsored by the company, but good for them for supporting the arts. They make some alright products. The service is nonexistent.

I see a lot of reviews saying that it's short and it doesn't fit, IT DOES! You'll need a second person to help you. Install it completely on the stand and once you reach the part where you think it doesn't fit, put the rod through and pull hard, its stretchy and won't rip. One side at a time. Don't be afraid to pull.

This reflector is super easy to set up and use. I would definitely add this to your light kit arsenal.

The assembly and the disassembly are a little pain in the a, I shoot on location so all my products need to be easy to assemble or not take to much time. The other thing like other ppl have mention is that the angle is locked and only goes to a certain adjustment. You can’t do anything after 45• to 90• which would of been super helpful. The case might of been a slightly larger as I still struggle to get everything to fit in. My wife keeps telling me that I should of gone for the more expensive brand to avoid any issues with cheaper stuff. I’ll update later been using for a whole month. I scratched the poles already because of the assembly 😒

I have used a round collapsible reflector for years to get light under my subjects chin. this wrap around reflector is just what the doctor ordered! It is fantastic! The quality of the fill is just subtle enough to look natural and not too fake. I love it!

It works well and although it can be stored in a bag I don’t know that I’d want to take it apart and reassemble it each time I use it. It does take a bit of time and effort to assemble. It’s very large and a challenge to store. If you have a large studio it would be great. I’m not sure how practical it going to be for my small space. I’m hoping with stretching and wear that it will take less effort to put together so I can store it in the bag.

reflector is easy to put together - even with no instructions it only took maybe 10 minutes - seems well made and well worth the cost - will be a great addition to my portrait gear
