Perfect fit for my HP G4, might fit other models too if you go to the manufacturers website and find your exact model, and then go to the parts tab for that machine to locate the part number you need to verify here.Installation is irrelevant, easy with a YouTube video but let me say when installing I did notice the material and construction design is slightly different.The stock fan is all aluminum shell with a plastic fan turbine, but this piece is semi-durable plastic mostly all the way around. The fan on this piece appears to be well installed into the shell and rotatedly effortlessly and without flaw.I do not hear any clicks or grinding when overclocking my pc when the fan is on high, so I'd approve this piece for usage.Even the holes for the 2 baby screws were perfectly aligned
