Basic Solid Stretchy Cotton High Waist A-line Flared Casual Skater Mini Skirt

Okay, if you're shopping for clothes on Amazon, you know the PAIN of shopping for clothes on Amazon. The item looks amazing in photos - great cut, good drape, nice fabric. You cross your fingers and order, hoping against hope that maybe this time you'll actually get the pictured item. Then what arrives is something that looks like it was assembled out of used tissues in the dark by particularly inept preschoolers, and sigh, it's off to the post office you go to return it.Well, if all that is running through your head as you consider this skirt, you can relax. This is that rare Amazon clothing item that is EXACTLY as pictured!The first thing I'm going to gush about is the fabric, because it is SO NICE. It's exactly the right fabric for this skirt; not fancy, but sturdy, long-wearing and well-suited to the cut. It's a great heavy weight, somewhat like a heavier sweatshirt weight (without the fuzzy backing). It's got good body to it, which means that the skirt actually does flare out like in the photos instead of clinging or hanging limply. And it just feels good quality - no picking, no catching on roughened fingertips, and washes and dries with the regularly laundry with no fading or pilling.The second thing is the cut, which is again spot-on. It's got that great skater fullness and flare with a hint of ruffle while not being so full that it becomes a statement piece, making it an ideal wardrobe blender piece that can be worn in many different outfits. The length is ideal, too, falling midway down the upper leg - short enough to be cute, long enough to actually cover your rear. For office wear, it's a great length for wearing over tights or leggings. On me (5'9", 30 inch waist) the large fits perfectly with the waistband hitting at true waist and the bottom hem hitting at fingertip length. Sizing was spot-on to the manufacturer's chart. The waistband is sturdy, so you'll want to make sure you get the right size, as I can definitely see it being uncomfortable if it was too small.Oh, and you know that delightful (sarcasm) Amazon clothing thing where you buy an item, like it, and buy a second one only to discover that the company has apparently been taken over and what arrives is an evil clone that looks NOTHING like the first item you got and is about three sizes different? Well, I can attest that the second skirt I ordered is absolutely identical to the first, so yay!

This is a cute little skater skirt with big enough pockets for your phone. I like how it’s mostly made of cotton, so it’s good for summer. No complaints! Note that it might be a little short for taller people

The skirt is cutesy! It’s a medium tan and it’s very durable, heavy fabric like wool. It stretches and runs true to size. Perfect fall look paired with knee high boots

This skirt was true to size. I read the reviews of others and based my sizing off of others reviews, pictures, and sizes. I ordered an XL and it fits like a glove.The texture isn't my favorite thing in the world but the skirt itself is very sturdy feeling and comfortable. The waist is cinched and gives a perfect hourglass appearance. I have a smaller waist so this style flattered me well. I'm overall very pleased with the purchase. It's flirty and fun, fits with many outfits. Just what I needed!

This is a nice lightweight piece that I bought for a “DIY workout skort “— basically I bought this and some spandex non slip shorts to wear under and they work great. Honestly I’ve never had a cotton skirt like this. It feels very “basic”, but it’s still quite functional. Short but fairly flowy. The skirt I got was white so it gets dirty easily, however, the stains always come out in the wash. I’ve had no trouble washing and drying.

Perfect every day skater skirt, I was worried the material would be weird swimsuit material or cheap, but it is normal cotton like tshirt material, comfy and high waisted!

I weight 165lbs, and I'm 5'4, I ordered a medium and it fits perfect with a lot of stretch. Love this skirt!!! Perfect for spring time!!! Did doesn't wrinkle easily, the fabric is very breathable and the skirts has nice flow. It's a fun way to add a pop of color. No transparency at all.

Really cute and comfy skirt. It's fairly heavy fabric and could be worn with tights in winter, but since it's mostly cotton and has a lot of movement, it's nice in all but the very hottest summer temps too. Lovelovetriplelove the nice deep pockets. It's got a comfortable but robust waist elastic so I can even carry my cell in the pockets.

I love this skirt! It fits well and looks great on any body type!I will definitely be ordering more in other colours.I'm only a small 4'6 tall so I'm guessing that the skirt will be a little shorter on others but for little me the length is perfect :)

Great little skirt. I actually bought it as part of a 1980s fancy dress outfit but I've worn it several times since. Really good quality and length and it hangs beautifully.
