Pump and regulator worked just fine and a lot cheaper than the 300.00 OEM fuel pump assembly

Works great and saves money!
Disassembling the OEM fuel pump assembly in my 2015 Yamaha WR250F was a pain, but the QFS pump rebuild kit worked perfectly and got my bike back up and running again and saved me about $300 over replacing the entire OEM pump assembly! The manufacturer (QFS) was also very responsive and professional when I needed some assistance. Highly recommended!...I do however recommend looking for the alternate part number for this kit that also includes the tank gasket. This one doesn't. Also this kit for some reason didn't come with the o-ring on the pump outlet. I was able to re-use the one from my original pump, but recommend QFS look into this and include with the kit in the future. Should be a single Amazon part number that includes all replacement gaskets and o-rings. The cost difference should be minimal, and I'd be willing to pay it to know that I have everything I need in the kit!Oh, a couple last things...the pump inlet filter doesn't fit perfectly in the OEM housing and requires some fiddling with a screwdriver to fold over the bottom corner as you're putting it back together. Would be nice to have an exact match on the filter. Also, including a tool to install the retaining ring for the filter would be nice. I was able to use a 4mm socket and some finesse, tapping it with a small hammer to press it onto the stud, but it was challenging...

Works really well, definitely not a simple install
Edit: The install seamed to work, but upon trying to restart the bike it would not start easily or hold an idle. The idle adjustment screw and choke have zero effect. I put a pressure tester on it and it’s reading 24psi, instead of the minimum required 43.5. I am not sure if this one is just a dud but they’re out of stock, so I’m stuck with just returning the defective unit. It’s too bad too, because it seamed like a good solution.Original:Kit came with several filter options to suite various needs and the pump was clearly the right size. I had to reuse my original o-ring from the stock pump and the bendy straw hose was not an option for my application (2016 wr450f). I had some fuel line available so not an issue, but be sure you’ve got something. Also, an automotive pick tool would have saved a fair amount of trouble in the disassembly process but I was able to fabricate one without too much trouble. Bike seams to be running better than before the pump went out, so definitely worth doing this vs nearly $400 for an oem replacement pump assembly.

2015 XT250 - Worked Perfectly
Even though Amazon said it would not fit my bike (2015 Yamaha XT250) , the description and part number said it would. And it did. Bike sat for 3 years, only 1800 miles, but went bad from the gas sitting. Watched a YouTube video on how to remove the pump from the sending unit and then did it on my own. Bike started first try after and now runs perfectly.
