As far as appearances go, this is a very attractive pillow. The printing on the soft fuzzy fabric is superb, and the pillow is very tightly stuffed. The only problem seems to be with the construction. After about a week mine popped it's inner seam causing a little hemorrhage of fiberfill. In my opinion, this should have been sewn on an overlock machine (like the stitching in a t-shirt) which would have made it much more durable. As it is the single stitch holding it together is a time bomb waiting to go off. I was able to hand stitch mine back together, but you shouldn't have to immediately repair what was (when I bought it Nov. 2015) a $38.68 pillow. I expect this is now a known issue and why some sellers have dropped the cost of this pillow down to around $15.

Bought for a freind kind of as a joke, along with several other nonjoke gifts. This shrimp pillow is actually better for sleeping in my opinion regular pillows are too thick in the back, thisnone tou just turn it to a smaller area, if the seams do come apart it will be because of over use since every one who sees it wants to try it out, with kids and adults all wanting to put it on there head and wear it around there neck everywhere they go at least for now it’s well worth the 8.50$. It gets an A, at first I wished it had looked a little more realistic somehow, but in the end who F’n cares, it’s fun.

This pillow looks exactly like the picture offered. I like to buy certain food pillows so this was an extremely cute piece to have. It is comfortable to put under my head and as neck support, but I find it most cute and comfy as an around the neck pillow! I like to wrap it around my neck similar to the ones travelers use for flights. It holds your head up well from all angles and is very cute.

My wife hated them when they arrived.....now loves them.....kinda cheaply made...had to resew two of the four i bought, but as for lounging....its a great lounging pillow.....you know, when your just out of site of the TV and your eyes are straining a little too much....this is what you want...tends to get flat, but thats what i like about it.

Super cute and awesome what we used it for was a prop when my husband went under my wedding dress to pull out my garter made everyone laugh when he pulled out a giant shrimp LOL however as a pillow not very good quality fluff is starting to come out of the Middle where the stitching has came apart immediately after bringing it home...

The stuffing is all lumpy with a break in stuffing about half way through the shrimp. I bought it as a gag gift, so it is what it is, but I do wish it was better quality. As an actual neck pillow, the back side has so little stuffing that it would be pretty ineffective.

Concern may be that a seam will give way to "an explosion" as she describes it. However, she says should it "explode" she will simply remove some of the batting and sew it closed.

The ones I received were about a quarter of the size photoed. They aren't very comfortable, they are too soft. These are not effective neck pillows, they are just a novelty. The print isn't as nice as in the photos, I do not recommend buying these even for a novelty item.
